.Vannessa booted up her computer, getting ready for her planned stream. She was still contemplating what to do when she heard a ding from her phone. Well, more like a blaring sound of what was supposed to be a simple tune, the volume accidentally set too high. Vannessa sighed as she got up from her desk, monitors long forgotten. It wasn't a big issue..
She quickly grabbed the source of sound and tried to dismiss the alarm. Vannessa plopped on her bed as soon as the sound had been properly taken care of. Her head suddenly pulsed with every ragged breath she took, making her realise that she was on the verge of a panic attack.
Vannessa quickly ran to the kitchen, her wobbling legs making it difficult to do so. Various bottles of medications and prescriptions came tumbling out of the drawer as she slammed her arm on it for the third time. She distinctly realised that she might have broken it before looking for her medication in the pile of bottles and tubes. Vannessa's head was spinning and her heart was racing and it was so incredibly damp.
Her mind provided a single thought; it's not so bad.
She slowly spotted the purple, custom made, bottle that contained her pills before wobbling to the sink, legs still unstable. It took forever for Vannessa to turn on the sink, and even longer for her to realise that she had no cups to get water with. She muttered out a slurred fuck it before throwing in a pill or three and putting her mouth in the flow of the water. It wasn't a preferred way to drink water but her hazy mind, now clouded with drugs, couldn't find a more reasonable way. It's fine anyways, it could've been way worse, she supplied.
As Vannessa's blurry eyes cleared and her foggy head was able to think again, she started to take deep breaths. Soon enough, her body stopped shaking and she was able to stand up without her legs feeling like jelly. Of course, they still felt a bit numb, as well as her probably fractured arm, but it wasn't so bad.
Laying on her kitchen floor, her stream an hour and a half due, the medication took Vannessa's foggy mind to sleep. As she closed her tired eyes, only one thought could be recognized amongst the many.
It's not so bad...right¿
Author's Note
This is my first story I've published on Wattpad [or anywhere] so please R&R as I would really appreciate it!
This is going to be a story, but I'd rather see if you like this oneshot and it's style before I post any more chapters ;)
**If some of the spelling is off, it's probably because at one point I switched from my desktop to my phone :,)
