The brother I never knew I had..

A chance meeting..

*Hope's Peak, 10AM... Chihiro's P.O.V*

I was on the verge of tears.. who wouldn't be after being bullied for most of your school life..?  After all... I was a weak person.. this happened everyday.. the bullies pulled my hair.. and made fun of me for dressing girlish. I wasn't sure what to do.. but on this particular day.. a boy.. around my height.. was standing up for me... I was amazed that anyone would help me. "Hey.. pick on someone your own size!" were the words he said.. I was.. in shock. One of my many bullies laughed at him. "What's a runt like you gonna do huh? Push me and hope I fall?" He then pushed the purple haired boy to the wall, laughing. "Please.. don't make me laugh." The purple haired boy looked at me and I swear.. I could see him mouthing the words— 'Go.. get out of here and find help.' —to me before he got punched.

I managed to run out, extremely worried for him as I then bumped into Mondo and his best friend besides me.. I held onto him and looked into his eyes. "T-Taka.. h-help..!! Please.. s-someone is h-hurting another student..!" as soon as I said that.. Taka handed me to Mondo so I could calm down as he rushed to stop the bullies. "Hey!! Bullying is against school regulations!! Stop that right now.!" was all I heard before Mondo pulled me into a loving hug.. He rubbed my back.. calming me down. "M-Mondo.. i-is he gonna be okay..?" I looked over as Taka helped the purple haired boy walk out of the room.. his face was bloody, and I saw him limp slightly.. I rushed over to see if he was okay.. cleaning some of the blood. "I'm fine.. Chihiro right?" I nodded as he asked my name. "I'm Kokichi Ouma! But.. just call me Koki—" He was cut off by a ravenette rushing towards him with a worried expression. "Kichi.. what happened- A-Are you okay!?" He held Kokichi close.. "I-I'm sorry.." I spoke up. He smiled, nuzzling the ravenette a bit. "No need! I wanted to protect you so I did!" He had an awfully cheery tone for someone who just got.. punted. "Kichi.. whose this?" The ravenette asked. "O-oh! I-I'm Chihiro Fujisaki.. pleasure to meet you." I bow a bit. "I'm Shuichi Saihara." He bows.. well.. as best as he can with Kokichi in his arms. "S-Shumai- I'm.. can't breathe.." Kokichi spoke out. "Ah- sorry..!" Shuichi let go a bit.. before kissing Kokichi's cheek. "I.. I have to go real quick..! I have something to investigate." He excuses himself and walks off.
