A Little Problem

8: Pride

"FINALLY!" Hinata exclaims.

"You finished the mural bunny?" Iwaizumi asks.

"Yes! Finally, after 3 months!" Hinata exclaims, stepping back from the alleyway to take a look at all of his work. The 6 were on the last stretch of their trip to the US, and because some didn't get to finish their work, or just really wanted to go back, they all decided on spending the last bit of time in California. Since New York, all 6 have been viewed on TV several times, completing their required TV appearances and also taking so many offers, that the whole trip was paid for 3 times over, giving the art program the most profit out of 1 trip they ever have. All of the art the 6 had done was viewed all over the US, and is now highly requested by thousands of people. It was currently June, a month of pride everywhere for all people, and also the weekend of the pride parade, which the 6 were supposed to participate in.

Iwaizumi walks over to Hinata, wrapping his arms around his smaller boyfriends waist. Hinata did in fact accept Oikawa and Iwaizumi's confession, making all 3 of them officially dating, and they hit it off right away. Every night they would text and call, and even if at first Hinata was a bit hesitant after being hurt so badly by Kageyama, he finally accepted that he was over him, and wanted to start new with Iwaizumi and Oikawa. Iwaizumi and Oikawa gave Hinata as much space as he wanted, whenever he said he was tired, they'd let him sleep, when he said he was too overwhelmed, they'd slowly and carefully help him out of it. It was perfect, they all loved and respected each other.

"Hey guys." Kenma calls, walking over with Akaashi, Aone and Suna.

"Hi!" Hinata chirps, turning around.

"Woah.. This is amazing, Hinata! You painted all of this?" Suna exclaims, looking at the mural.

"Yep! Took forever though." Hinata says, wiping his paint stained hands onto his overalls.

"Well it looks amazing Hinata." Aone says, admiring the alleyway.

"Why don't we take a picture and post it to Instagram?" Akaashi suggests, pulling out his phone.

"I think that's a great idea Akaashi." Iwaizumi says, picking up Hinata and putting him on his shoulders. Everyone laughs, seeing Hinata so much taller than normal and Akaashi sets up his phone with the whole mural in frame.

"Here, everyone needs to know who painted this." Suna says, handing Hinata a paintbrush for him to hold up. Hinata smiles, taking the paintbrush before everyone gets into a pose. Akaashi clicks the photo button and it starts a countdown from 10. Akaashi runs back quickly, posing with everyone else as they see a bright flash, signaling that the picture has been taken.

"Ok now just Shoyo." Kenma says as everyone goes over to the phone to look at the photo.

"Fine fine fine! Then one of the mural." Hinata says, running to the middle of the alleyway, holding up his paintbrush proudly. Akaashi snaps another photo and Hinata quickly runs out of shot, letting Akaashi take a last photo before posting all 3 to the group's Instagram.

"We all almost ready to go to the pride parade?" Hinata asks, setting the paintbrush into the truck all of his supplies are being stored to be put away in an artist alley.

"I think so, we have our outfits already over at the float." Kenma says, looking at an update on his phone.

"Let's get going then yea?" Iwaizumi suggests picking up Hinata and heading over to the bus that they were supposed to take to the parade.

Once all dressed and on their float, the parade starts, slowly moving as the 6 watch a bunch of LGBTQ+ people cheer and sing along to the music playing in the street. Hinata goes up to the top of the float, basket in hand of a bunch of paper, all things that he's painted and going to give away for free. Hinata starts taking bunches of the works and letting them go to the wind. People go to pick them up and start cheering even louder, happy to get a work from a talented artist for absolutely free. This continues for hours, All 6 going around on the floats, passing out necklaces, candy and art pieces.

Kita: Have you guys seen the news..?

Oikawa: What? That the 6 are coming back early so they can participate in graduation?

Bokuto: YES OIKAWA WE GET IT YOUR BETTER THAN US

Oikawa: I never said anything like that! I was just saying what I heard on the news!

Daichi: Bokuto, stop we get it we're all irritated.

Kai: Good luck trying to talk to them.

Kuroo: Kai enough.

Kai: What? I'm being sincere. I do actually hope they talk with you a bit because I don't want them to quit the sport they love.

Suga: Oh.. I thought you were trying to make us feel guilty.

Oikawa: No, we are not, we're actually trying to convince them to talk to you because we know that they still love volleyball.

Kai: So far they've all agreed to come back to volleyball and at least speak to you guys briefly.

Futakuchi: Wait, really?!

Oikawa: Yep.

Kageyama: So we can talk to them..?

Oikawa: Yes, Tobio. You can talk to him

Osamu: I hope they forgive us...

Kai: Unlikely but good luck.

Tanaka: Hey Oikawa, is it true you and Iwaizumi started to date Hinata..?

Kageyama is offline.

Oikawa: Wow someone doing some Instagram stalking? But yes, that's true.

Daichi: what..?

Kai: Oh yea that did happen. How's that going by the way?

Oikawa: Really good! He's really happy with us. Oh and yea, after a while we started dating all together.

Suga: So was he cheating or not?!

Oikawa: It's this thing called getting over someone? Tobio's done it. And not even, he was loyal to Tobio-chan all through their relationship and he'll show you when he's back.

Tsukishima: How will he even show that?!

Kai: You guys will see.

Kuroo: ... are we the ones in the wrong..?

Osamu: I don't think so..

Bokuto: But I feel like we are..

Futakuchi: If we were in the wrong then why did they leave?

Kuroo: Even if we were wrong we did what we could with the information we had!

Osamu: But we didn't listen to them... both times..

Futakuchi: The more I think about it I feel like we're in the wrong.
