she held crimson love with bisque hands, dripping
carmine tears as faded red;
and ivory held her hand to kiss cerise breath and turn
azure blood plum( the sun smiles)
mistyrose flowers bloom fuchia and oldrose ground to
earth amethyst roots;
and so he weaves olive and sepia to translucent celadon
and wears it with jade champagne
( the sky merely blinks)
"would you love him?",the sun ( fading) asked
with humor hidden mauve
"do i not already?"; eyes tinted aqua and smile
turned rust from amber veins
( the sun gone into hiding watched as she whispers to
him about indigo love and holds him with seagreen
fondness; and waves salmon hues to the beginning slate
gone grey)
"did you say something?"( the earth hums bronze),
"i am pretty sure i said 'I love you'", the rosepink on
her cheeks turn redviolet
"do you?", he laughs as the night withdraws it's
thundering branches into the peach lighted grass
meadow
(i love you)
-but is it love?
