As soon as she locked eyes with him, her legs began to shake. She couldn't believe it. The man she'd fantasized about was standing in front of her.
"Hi." She let out shyly. He flashed that perfect smile as she walked closer to him.
"How are you?"
"Nervous."
He wrapped his arm around her waist just as she wrapped hers around his. She let out a soft gasp as she felt his long fingers grip her waist and pull her close to him.
"Don't be, ready?"
"Mmmhmmm" She managed to get out. She looked up at the photographer who was holding up her hand.
"Alright guys! One, two, Three!" Flashes went off and she prayed to god that she didn't blink. She looked up at him, trying not to fall weak to his gorgeous blue eyes.
"Thank you so much."
"No, thank you!" She pulled her arm from around his waist, remembering that she was holding something. Right. Her gift.
"Can...Can I give you this?"
"Sure!" She handed him the small envelope, her body still shaking from the nerves.
"Thank you so much."
"You're welcome!" She turned to walk away when she heard him speak again.
"A playlist huh?" She turned around with a smile that was sure to stretch her face. He had opened her gift and had the playlist she had written to go with her gag gift of a gift card in his hand.
"Yeah.....I know it's probably super lame."
"It's actually perfect."
"Ma'am we need you to go this way please." One of the security guards requested. She watched him hold up his hand.
"Just a minute guys." He stepped forward to fill the space between them.
"Maybe we could go over the songs after all this madness?" Her jaw dropped as she processed the question in her head.
"Seriously?" He smiled and nodded.
"Yeah....you can tell me why you picked these songs. What do you say?"
"Sure." Her mouth answered before her brain could. He turned to look at a man behind him.
"James will get your hotel info and number and I'll come get you as soon as I'm done here." A tall man waved her over to the corner he was standing in. She had no clue what was happening but she was glad for it.
After giving him all of her info, she turned back to him.
"So I guess I'll see you later?" She tried to ignore her body's reaction to his smile as he nodded.
"Absolutely."
"Okay." She gave him a shy wave before grabbing her bag and heading towards the exit.
What the hell just happened? Did she really just get invited to her favorite celebrity's hotel room?
Her brain couldn't process it all, she wanted to tell the first person she saw, but decided against it. After she retrieved her picture, she wandered around the hall a little while longer before heading back to her hotel room. She was thankful that she was smart enough to bring more than one outfit even though she was only staying a few days. She had just finished showering when she heard her phone ringing. Noticing that it was a number she didn't recognize, panic rushed over her body.
"Hello?" When she heard the voice on the other end, she wanted to melt on the spot.
"How soon can I pick you up?" She almost said now but realized she was still wrapped in her towel.
