Chapter 5- New

                                                                    Kat's P.O.V

I can't believe that I get to leave in a castle! It's going to be AMAZING! I hope.

As we pull up into a driveway, I realize that we are at a dead end.

"We have to swim the rest of the way." the Driver said.

"How? I can't live underwater. I can barely hold my breath for a minute." I replied with a little bit of fear lacing my voice.

"Not to worry." He called. "As soon as you touch water, you become a mermaid. One of the bonus' of being the ruler of something is that you get to become whatever you're the ruler of. As for you, that means you can transform into a mermaid and that you will have to feed your vampire side how any other vampire would."

"Wow. So you're saying that my sisters and I can transform into what we are the rulers of?" I asked just for clarification.

"Indeed. Now come along. I have to show you to your castle.

As we walked, I could see the ocean and had a strange pull towards it. The Driver simply walked over to it as I was frozen in my place. I don't understand why I have this pull, but I need to get to my castle. So, I walked over to the ocean and as soon as I touched it, my legs started glowing this amazing ocean blue color. Before I knew it, I was laying on the sand, my legs gone and were replaced by a beautiful tail. I don't know how to describe it. The color was a beautiful aqua color, like my eyes and had seashells on it. It glistened in the sunlight like stars twinkling at night.

"Come on!" the Driver called once again. As I looked towards the spot that I last saw him at, he wasn't there. He was already half way into the ocean. Once I got into the water, the most amazing feeling I had ever felt came upon me. I couldn't get enough of it. I started to swim to the Driver and I was suprised to see how gracefully I could swim with this tail. As the Driver went under as did I. There was a whole other world down here, and I was one of the lucky few who got to experience it. The sun glistened on the water making it sparkle to life. The fish were surrounding me and I couldn't help but just enjoy there company.

As we kept swimming, the feeling that I got never died. It only grew the more I swam. Soon, we approched my castle. It was huge and was blue and black. The sun hit it perfectly that it sparkled just like my tail. The Driver opened the door for me and I was astonished at how amazing it looked. It was the same colors as the exterior. The rooms were amazing! I even had my own gaming room!

As I was walking around aimlessly, looking for my room, I bumped into a wall.

"Fuc-" I said.

"Now. That isn't appropiate language for a pretty girl." a mysterious voice said.

"And who are you exactly?" I asked in a smart tone.

"The name is Chris. And yours is?"

"The name is Kat." I said copying his tone.

"Tough girl. Arn't you the new ruler?"

"I am."

"Wow. May I show you to your room?"

"Please." I said realizing that this guy is just like Nicole and would even if I didn't want him too.

"This way."

As I followed him, I couldn't help but look at the walls as we passed. Everything was so colorful and blue. AMAZING!

"Here you go." he said while stopping to smile at me.

"Thanks." I said with a grateful smile.

"No problem. But you owe me something in return." he said, a smirk appearing on his face.

"And that would be?"

"A date."

"Sorry. I have a boyfriend."

"Where? On land? You're not going to be able to see him again. You live in this world now."

"You're right. I just haven't broken up with him yet."

"Well, get the ruler of the Mortals and Angels to do it."

"Fine. When?"

"Next Friday."

"Okay."

I entered the room with a weird look on my face. I can't complain that he asked me out. It is the fact that it happened that fast. I haven't even broken up with my boyfriend yet and I already have a date next week. I will have to ask Carmon to do it for me.
