The night of my dreams was the beginning of my reality.I no longer aged for some reason. I've always known I was different. I could see what others did not see, or should never see and my appearance was nothing normal. Immortality...I didnt know until I became 14, before that I was just a normal girl. But that was a little above 300 years ago.
I had no reason on not believing magical folktales and other hope and heart warming stories. After what I've seen I believed.
~First Encounter~
- Go on! You're gonna be late to school- My mother yelled
Those words woke me right off my bed. I packed everything quickly taking a bite out of my breakfast. As I hopeed on one foot I put on my shoes and so the other. The toast my mother had made for me was clinging from my mouth as I tried to speak clearly
-lovr you momr!- I said while my mouth was filled with food
- Take a jacket! It's at it's negatives...And don't talk with your mouth full.
I swallowed my food - I'm not cold, I'm fine don't worry.
- You didn't have to swallow It in one bite either - She smiled gently and I replied kindly and ran off to school
In the distance I saw a white haired boy, his expression was like no other, of no inetrest, anxiety and confusion. He passed between bodies seeing if he's catch anyone's attention but they did nothing.
- I don't think it's fun if you keep on passing people like that- I said
He quickly glanced at me
-wait... You...see me? I'm Jack Frost- And from his excitment he held my hand almost prancing in joy
- I'm talking to you aren't I? What did you think? The name is...- I stopped to look at my hands. They were numb and covered with frost. My wrist began to bleed and Jack looked at my hand in concern.
-I'm so so sorry- He apologized and accidently touchedmy shoulder. Seeing he did it again he started moving away from me and apologizing again. He left...
-...Aurora. I'm okay- I held out my hand and made the ice go away and gathered it together. I shaped and touched it with my index. It became life itself. A small chubby creature that took shape into anything it desired. I looked to the direction where Jack had left only wishing he would have known nothing bad really happened.
