Clay's POV:

It was the last day of school for Clay and classes were going by slower than normal. I suppose that is to be expected on the last day.

He was currently sitting in his Algebra class trying to pay attention. He was finding it incredibly difficult considering the heat and the day. The teachers could tell that their students weren't really paying attention which is why none of them even bothered trying to teach today.

The past few years Clay has been so excited for summer. Three years ago he started work at the town pool as a lifeguard. He loved to swim and loved being in the warming sun.

The job was perfect for Clay because he got to swim during his breaks and hang out with his friends when they went to the pool.

The bell finally rang signaling the end of another boring school year. Everyone rushed to their cars to get home.

Clay didn't feel like rushing home today since his parents weren't home so he decided to go to the park. He loved being outside in the sun, it was like his happy place.

When he got to the park he noticed a boy around his age sitting on a swing. The boy saw him and quickly left.

Weird

After sitting at the park for about 45 minutes Clay decided to head home to make himself dinner.

_____________Time Skip_______________

After Clay ate dinner he was pretty tired so he got comfortable in his bed and closed his eyes.

Clay went to bed that night thinking about the boy at the park.
