Clay woke up the next morning at 9:00 am ready for his first day as a lifeguard. The pool in his town opened at 11am so he had a little while before he had to go to work.
He decided to take a shower before he ate breakfast so he was already clean. After his shower, he started to make his breakfast.
Clay decided he wanted waffles and eggs so that's what he made. Once they were finished cooking he put them on a plate and got to eating.
After eating, Clay checked the time and saw that it was now 10:15 so he decided to get ready for his first day of work this summer.

Once Clay got to the pool he put his lifeguard uniform on and got up on his lifeguard stand.
He had heard from his co-workers that they were getting a new concession stand worker today but Clay didn't think much about it.
He was watching the kids and making sure everyone was doing okay and not drowning eachother when he looked over to see the new worker handing a kid some nachos.
Wow. Clay thought. He's cute.
Clay decided right then and there that he had to introduce himself and talk to the boy.

It was now time for Clay's break where they would switch lifeguards and he decided that's when he wanted to talk to the new boy.
As Clay started walking towards the boy he got a better look at him. The boy had soft looking chocolate hair and matching honey eyes. He was fairly shorter than Clay but it was a cute amount. He was beautiful.
Clay took his chance.
"Hi, I'm Clay."
