Before you read the special I just want to say, that I didn't do much research on a lot of things, and I want to apologize to any Indigenous/Native Americans. Seeing as I go based on my culture, my limited knowledge, of the history, and Native American culture. If there is anything that offends, or is interpreted incorrectly, please do not hesitate to comment/ or message me about it, I will gladly correct, change or re-do. I want all my readers to be comfortable. And not feel like something that is a part of them, is being used inappropriately. This also applies, to my other ethnic readers.

Now that is addressed. On to your special!

Hope you all enjoy it! Bo says Hi! (^ v ^)/

It was early in the morning Catori and her husband were walking through the woods, a cool breeze passing by them, it was quiet. . . a bit too quiet for their liking.  In fact, today seemed to be filled with quietness, this morning their children had woken up peacefully, but well surprisingly all except their children who had clans near the eastern shores, and also Maska, it seemed even if he had no clans he was still affected and could feel, danger or anything on the land, almost as if he was completely connected to it.

Setting aside the strange morning with their kids aside, they continued walking to the eastern shores to check up on the clans and see if there was anything strange going on.

The whole walk there was filled with comforting silence, occasionally her husband would whistle a tune, or mimic a bird and call it over. They were 10 minutes into the walk and they drum, and the air smelled of smoke they looked up and saw the smoke had the pattern of asking for 'help; Attack' and the closer they listen they realized they weren't drums...  . . . .

Quickly Catori shifted into her raven form and her husband a wolf, these animals were what represented their tribes/clans. The wolf for its strength, and guardianship.  The raven for its intelligence, wisdom. But one thing both had in common is loyalty.

Loyalty to them meant more than just family and friends, it meant their community it didn't matter if they were outsiders as long as they returned the kindness given to them. Respect for one another will always exist.

So upon seeing their people ask for help, they quickly took action. It took them about 10 minutes to get there, mainly because they took a shortcut. Once they did, it was clear that nothing good would come if things weren't settled quickly.

Catori and Honaw shifted back as humans and walked toward the chief of the clan. As they got closer they saw strange men; Pale as the snow, tall as her husband, their hair was the color of corn, eyes blue with a hint of gray; soulless, their clothes were strange something they had never seen.

(Catori= Bold, Chief = Underline, Honaw= Normal)

"What's going on here?"

"I don't know, one of the villagers told me there were strange boats headed towards our shores. And when we came to see these men were here."

"From what you've told us and what is in front of us, they must be of a different land."

"Meaning they can't speak any of our native tongues."

"Yes, that's correct. We tried to speak with them but they responded in a different tongue."

"Can one of your villagers bring some offerings for them, so that they know we don't wanna fight, and can you tell these worriers to get out of defense stance?"

"Of course."

"What are you thinking?" Catori asked turning to her husband with a questioning look.
