~Seokjin's POV~
"Namjoon, where are we?" I asked with a slight pout. He simply chuckled for at least the fifth time. I huffed, leaning back against my seat as I tried to get a secret glimpse through the blindfold he insisted on putting on me. But just as I did, I felt the car stop.
"Have we arrived?" I asked a bit sarcastically.
"Yup."
I frowned and reached up to take off the blindfold, but Namjoon quickly grabbed my hand to stop me. "Nope, you're not taking it off until I say so."
I groaned in annoyance but stayed in the car as he came around to open the door and help me out. I gasped in surprise whenever he picked me up, holding me on his back as he shut the car door. I wrapped my arms around his neck and held on to him as he carried me through what felt like really bumpy ground. He continued to walk for a good six minutes or so with me on his back, until he suddenly stopped and carefully set me down.
"Just a second, babe..."
"Just how much waiting are you going to make me do? This better be worth it." I complained, crossing my arms as I begrudgingly waited for him to finish whenever he was doing.
"Alright." He mumbled. "You can take off the blindfold and open your eyes."
"About damn ti--" I started to complain as I took off the blindfold, but as soon as I could see what was in front of me, I froze.
Namjoon showed me a dimpled smile as he held out a large bouquet of flowers to me. Behind him, was a candlelit picnic with a view of a waterfall. Apparently, it was a mountain that he'd been trekking us up earlier.
"N-Namjoon..." I whispered as my eyes widened. "Do you do all of this?"
He smiled. "I was planning this all week, and set it up all morning. I had a friend bring the food up here before we got here about twenty minutes ago, so it's fresh and warm."
"You..." I smiled a little. "This is so sweet, I feel kind of spoiled now." I said as I stepped closer to him, gingerly taking the bouquet and pecking his lips as thanks.
"Maybe that was my intention?" He said with a little smile. "I enjoy spoiling you, hyung."
Whenever I blushed a little, he chuckled softly before he gently took my free hand and led me over to the little set up. We both sat down on the sprawled out blanket and Namjoon began to set out a couple different kinds of food, some being traditional picnic foods while some being takeout from various restaurants.
"You really went all out, didn't you?" I mumbled as I looked over the wide selection of food. "What's the occasion?"
He smiled. "Do I need an occasion to take you out on a date?"
I hummed. "I suppose not."
He chuckled softly as he picked up a cut sandwich and held it out to me. I took it, and took a curious bite.
Ooh.
He smiled at my pleased expression and took a bite from a sandwich himself as I munched happily and looked out at the waterfall. "Where are we, anyway?"
"Ah--just a little place I found outside of the city. I don't know if it has a name or not."
"How did you find it?"
"Well...sometimes whenever I need inspiration for a song that I need to write, I go out into nature and it gives me ideas. Usually it's the Han river I go to, but sometimes I'll go in search of a new place. This was just one of those times. I went hiking and stumbled upon this place while I was looking for inspiration. It's pretty, isn't it?"
