In Kansas, Dorothy was sleeping in her bed
Dorothy: (yawns)
She wakes up to see her newly built house, she gets up and puts on her new dress, today was important day cause, today was the annual jamboree festival and the whole city was Going to be there.
Toto: bark, bark
Dorothy: morning Toto, Well today's the day
She smiles and looks herself in the mirror, puts her hair in a one French braid, she goes downstairs in her new white summer dress and boots, Toto by her side.
She then overhears her aunt and uncle finishing talking on the phone
Aunt em: ok see you soon, goodbye
Uncle Henry: well
Aunt em: they said their coming later today
Uncle Henry: well we better go tell her
Aunt em: I don't know Henery, maybe we shouldn't do this
Uncle Henry: em we're not going to be around long to take care of her, she needs someone to look after her
Aunt em: I know but shouldn't this be her decision
She decided to see what was going on
Dorothy: morning aunt em, morning uncle Henry
They both turned, looked and gave her a worried look
Aunt em: Dorothy, sweetie we need to talk
Dorothy: ok
Uncle Henry: sit down please
She sits down with jumping on her lap, her aunt and uncle tried the best way to tell their their news
Aunt em: Dorothy, listen as you know today is the annual jamboree festival
Uncle Henry: and as always we all go there as a family
Dorothy: I know I'm so excited to go
Uncle Henry: yeah about that, we won't be going together this year
Her smile disappeared
Dorothy: huh
Uncle Henry: well yesterday I went to the Doctor's for an important and well—- apparently
He shows her a paper
Uncle Henry: I have Lung cancer
Dorothy: (gasp)
She puts her hand over her mouth
Aunt em: yes but don't worry, you're uncle will be fine, he's going to get a special treatment
She calmed down
Uncle Henry: but it got me thinking and we'll me and your aunt won't be here long to look after you so—
Dorothy: so
Aunt em: so uh you remember my old friend, Maggie right
Dorothy: yeah
Aunt em: well (giggles) she called me last week and me and your uncle noticed that you have been feeling very lonely and just our luck so is her son hank and so we talked today and decided that you two should get together
Dorothy: WHAT!
Aunt em: I know it's so excited that you'll be meeting someone
Uncle Henry: their coming over later today, and he'll be taking you to the festival
Dorothy: huh
Uncle Henry: it will a good time for you two to get to know each other
Dorothy: WHAT NO, I DON'T WANNA DATE SOME STRANGER THAT DON'T EVEN KNOW
Aunt em: Dorothy please dear, he's the son of my very good friend
Dorothy: NO!!! I WON'T DO THIS
Uncle Henry: Dorothy please, we only want what's best for you and we think that you need someone special in your life
Dorothy: I DON'T NEED A MAN, I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF
Uncle Henry: Dorothy please understand that, we're doing this so their will be somebody to take care of you when we're gone
Dorothy: (weep) no!! I won't do this and you can't make me
She runs away outside slamming the door, Toto followed her
Aunt em: Dorothy Wait!!!
Uncle Henry: she needs some space that's all
She did have a special person in her life, she didn't wanted to give her feelings up
She and Toto ran far away from the house as far as they went
Dorothy: (sobbing)
They went inside the abandoned farmhouse and sat down She wiped her tears off, she cries her tears out, tot rest his chin on her leg.
Dorothy: (sniffs) it's just not fair Toto, I can't just go out with a guy I don't know, why can't (sniff) they understand that don't want to be in a relationship, I-I-I'm in love with someone else, someone that they wouldn't like (sigh)
As she buries her head in her arms
The magic bubble suddenly appeared, Toto saw
Toto: (growl) bark, bark, bark
She looked up and saw it
Dorothy: whoa
As she gets closer to it, she didn't see the hole in the ground
Dorothy: (screaming) ah!!!!
As she and Toto feel in, the bubble caught her and flew off the oz
Dorothy: (gasp) whoa
She saw how high they were
Dorothy: where are you taking us
The magic bubble then showed her images of them being
Scarecrow: Dorothy, it's scarecrow
Dorothy: (gasp) scarecrow
She face light up when she saw his face
Scarecrow: there's no time for me to explain this—
BANG, BANG
Dorothy: huh
She heard the sounds of doors banging and it made her worried as she was Everyone panicking
Lion: ah you might wanna be fast about this
Dorothy: lion
Scarecrow: right, there's trouble in oz again
Dorothy: trouble in oz
Scarecrow: and we need you to come to the emerald city, this bubble with transport you to oz and be careful. an evil Gypsy was been transforming everyone into stone, get as much help as you can, oz is depending on you.
Dorothy: (gasp) scarecrow wait
The image disappeared
Dorothy: (sigh) I won't let you down
