The Epic Adventures of Marc + Strechy and his friends too Part: 1

Chapter 1

Somewhere in the universe there was a galaxy, in this galaxy was a solar system, in the solar system was a planet named, Earth.Which is probably where you are now...We'll, on Earth, there's a guy named Marc. It was summer vacation for Marc. A time when he could do pretty much anything he wanted that wasn't bad.

He had decided to call his friend Alex and talk about video games and stuff that he referred to as,"not-boring."

*Meanwhile in Alex's house...*

Alex's POV

I was there sitting on the couch watching the news when at about 11:00 am, my phone rang,"Hello?"

Marc's voice came up,"Hey Alex whatcha doin'?"

"Mm, nothing." I answered back.

"Hmm...me neither." He sounded really bored, but at about that time something strange and unexpected appeared on the news.

"Two astronomers, Dominic and Joel have discovered the only other known planet other than Earth to sustain life..."

"Hey, Marc, you hearin' this?" I asked him.

"What?"

"Some guys have discovered a planet that they think can support life!"

Right then, I heard some loud metallic noise and some creaking."Alex, you have to come over."

He said, then hung up. 'Well, best be going over to his place. After all there's not much to do here' I thought to myself. I didn't bring anything with me as I made my way to his house, I didn't think I needed to.

It took a while to walk over to his and while doing so, I took in my surroundings; a car, some kids playing in the street(they clearly shouldn't be), a man walking his dog, typical summer day.

Anyway, once I got there, I saw the garage door opened and some random items being thrown out into the drive way outside. Marc was there digging through a pile of random junk so I asked,"What are you doing?"I asked. He turned around and his hands were all dirty with dust and cobwebs,"Huh? Oh...uh...hey can you help me move this bike outta the way?" I didn't respond, I just helped him move it out of the way. After we did, I saw a little tiny door, or actually more like a hatch of some sort that had a valve looking handle on the right side and a swirl in the middle.

Marc's POV

Alex looked confused as to what the door-hatch looking thing was so I told him,"This, my friend, is a doorway to another dimension." Of course I was just kidding, but it really was a doorway, just not to another dimension. I started to turn the "knob" which looked like a valve and kept on twisting until the hatch popped open. "What's down there?" Alex asked. "You're about to find out..."

I entered headfirst into the dark opening on the wall and got back up on the other side. Before Alex could do the same, I felt my way through the almost absolute darkness until I felt what was unmistakably a light switch. I flipped it up and the whole room lit up almost instantly. The room was small and just barely high enough for me to reach up and touch the ceiling with my fist. On the opposite end, there was another more normal-sized door which led to where I wanted us to go.

In the time it took for me to observe the room, Alex had gone through and began to complain about how the room was so small, that if he jumped and could go through walls, or ceiling, he'd end up halfway through. I ignored him and opened up the door which led to an even larger room, and by larger, I mean much, MUCH larger. You could probably fit a few planes in here, but you'd have to find someway to stack them up, and still have room to, eat , sleep and basically live in.

Anyway, what I wanted to show him was the Shelly. It was, in general, a flying building. It looked like one too. With glass on the front, a hatch on the back, yeah, flying 10 story building. The thing about it is, it has massive thrusters on the side that make it look like it has arms. It also had a flag at the top. Orange with a snail shell and line around the shell indicating North, South, East and West. The snail alliance's symbol. I'll explain more later.

Anyway, me and Alex made our way through all the machinery always randomly generating useless, but sometimes useful, contraptions and ended up in the weapons storage area, the most dangerous place in the whole... Place.

I told Alex to stay there and not touch anything until I got back. "Well, ok then." He replied. "Alright, I'm gonna go call some people and ask them to see if they can come over. I'll be back."
