drivers license. alex×luke

Summary: Alex is hearing drivers license for the first time and he's thinking about Luke.

16:00 pm

"Julie. Why are you so sad?" Luke asked. They were at Julie's house hanging out in the garage.
"I didn't get back into the music program."
"What? Why? How?'
"Well. I didn't sing for 1 year, Luke. So now I have to wait for the next year. If they gonna take me back."
"But, you have an amazing voice!"
"Thank you." Julie said smiling.
"I have an idea. You should sing in front of them to prove them that they did a mistake."
"How am i supposed to do that?"
"You know, is there singing thing in school. You can sing there!"
"I like this idea! But i don't have a song!"
"Oh yes you have! It's called bright."
"What? But you said you don't want no one to sing that song."
"Forget what I said! You totally gonna rock it."
"Thank you!" Julie said hugging Luke.
"No problem."

At the school..10:00 a.m.

"Look. They are all done. Now it's your turn."
"Luke...I don't think i'm prepared."
"Yes you are!" Alex said.
"Yeah, you are Julie! So go. Don't let anyone to leave." Luke said and Julie went on the stage and sit down on the piano and stared at it a little bit then Luke spoke "you got this." And Julie started singing.

Sometimes I think I'm falling down.
I wanna cry I'm calling out.
To one more try to feel alive.

Alex just watched in shock.

And when I feel lost and alone
I know that I can make it home.
Fight though the dark and find the spark....

Julie sing and Luke went on the stage to grab a guitar and joined her.

"Hey man. Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Uhm. I think I'm just gonna go."
"You want me to come with you?"
"No. I want to be alone."
"Just, be careful."
"Thanks Reg. I'm calling you later."
"You better." Reggie said and Alex left.

Alex can't believe that Luke really give Julie to sing that song.
It was Luke's and Alex's song. Not Julie's and Luke's song.
He just walked. He didn't know where to go. After a little bit he took his phone put his earphones on and put some music.
And after a little bit begun one song called: drivers license. He wanted to change it at first but the song started to begun.

I got my driver's license last week
Just like we always talked about

Alex got his drivers license 2 weeks ago.
And yes. They always talked about it. How's gonna be like when Alex gonna have driving license.
They were so happy about it.
They broke up 3 weeks ago.
And they stayed friends. But it's not that easy.

Yes. Luke was really excited.
Alex lives 1 hour from Luke's house.
Alex usually went to him with bus or taxi.

But today I drove through the suburbs
Crying 'cause you weren't around

Yes. But he wasn't crying. Just he was sad and thinking.
He thought about how happy they were together.
