Whirrrrr. . .Familiar. .
Machine hum filled the sounds in my ears coursing through to my brain.
I knew this sound well.
The fairy lights in my room shine in my eyes the second I open them, my face scrunches so I sit up and look down at my bed sheets waiting for my eyes to adjust.
When they did I lift my head and look over every detail of my room.
The book shelf is still as full as ever, as well as the smaller shelf filled with books varying from different genres, and the chair in the corner still hung with the fluffy white rug under it.
Papers are scattered amongst the floor with almost unreadable writing scribbled on the pages.
My desk just as messy with loose paper along the work area, some blank while others were full of notes and writing, the rest of it is riddled with books, writing tools, journals, and a large stack of blank papers.
I finally look down at myself and seeing that I'm the same as I was just last morning, I sigh in relief and flop back down on my bed.
"Thank Allura I'm back!" A breathy laugh escaped, and I jump up and off my bed.
My pale blue pizza and cat pajamas are hanging off me, wrinkled from sleep.
Without changing I start my day like I usually do, brushing my hair and teeth as well as washing my face for the rest day we have.
Of course I'll be working on the ship later today.
After doing what I needed in the bathroom, I left to the dining room, slowly turning from walking to full on running down the halls the more excited I got.
Even though I saw them just yesterday, after the ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ I've had, I miss them so much.
A grin pulls at my lips and a laugh makes it's way out, 𝐈'𝐦 𝐬𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲, I hear the sounds of voices each ranging in different tones and volumes muffled behind the closed door.
Without stopping I ran down the hall and straight into the door before it could slide open.
Falling with a thud on the floor, my face, chest, and back aches from the whole collision.
I lay there rethinking my choices, the door slides open very slowly leaving everyone on the other side of the door to see me laying on the floor, contemplating life while laying like a star fish.
I don't bother looking at the others as I feel their stares, I can immediately tell who's about to laugh and who is actually worried.

"Are you, 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺?" Athena asks, pausing between you and okay because a giggle cut her off.
Giving a thumbs up I decide to stop laying on the floor like a rug and to get breakfast.
"Yup, ɪ sᴇᴇ ʏᴏᴜ, I am fine. I'm great in fact!" I say dramatically, whispering to Faith in between my sentence as I passed her.
"I was gonna say I was happy to see you but now I don't want too!" I pout, I'm a pouter.
I even added a little huff as extra, plopping myself down in my seat facing away from everyone.
A plate of food goo was placed in front of me, and they pat my head. I shift my gaze to see who it was as see Lizzy smiling at me. "No more pouting, or I'll shove food goo in your face."
