You tapped your shoes on the ground anxiously. You've been waiting for her since one hour ago. You can feel the sweats forming on your forehead just by thinking of talking to Jennie. You didn't like her at first but the way she ignored you made you more interested at her and then you just woke up having the fattest crush at Jennie Kim. Even though she always reject you, it made you pursue her more instead of giving up. So here you are, at the hallway, waiting for her as usual.

You closed your eyes, thinking of scenarios with her. All of these would be possible if she would just say yes. You were challenged because she's a tough nut to crack. Your thoughts were interrupted when you heard the voices approaching you. You shot your eyes open, and there you see the prettiest girl you've ever seen.

Her beauty is a crime. How can you look innocent but bad at the same time? It amazes you at how her demeanor changes just by doing a slight change of expression. Of course, you weren't only interested at her beauty. You also love her personality. She's kind and caring to others but you don't understand why she's so bitchy towards you. Day by day you ask yourself if there's something wrong with you.

She's with her friends just like every other day. The same set of friends that witnesses you getting rejected everyday. They actually admired your persistence and sometimes suggest you to Jennie without your knowledge.

Her friend Lisa noticed you first and you saw how she nudged Jennie to signal her you're present. Just like that, Jennie's expression changed instantly. One moment ago, she was laughing over Jisoo and now she's wearing her annoyed look again.

"Hi, Y/N!" Jisoo greeted you.

Unlike her friend, the three are actually warm and friendly towards you.

"Good morning, persistent." Rosé greeted you.

"Wazzap Y/N?" Lisa with her swaggy hand signs.

but Jennie didn't say a word. She rolled her eyes instead when her eyes landed on you.

'Sheeeshh. That hurt a bit.' You said to yourself.

"Hi, Jennie." You walked with them.

Lisa pushed you so you're near Jennie now.
As much as you want to walk beside her, you don't want to freak her out just like what happened last time. You remember how red her face was. You swear to God you wouldn't do it again. You don't want to kill her. You thought she's so mad at you. She's your first crush after all so you don't know anything about her reaction at all.

"Tch." was all she said.

You're used to that.

"Good morning!" You said back.

She only looked at you momentarily. It was only for a second but it felt like eternity to you.

'So pretty.' You mumbled.

You noticed how her ears became pink all of a sudden. You looked back at Rosé, who's smirking. Lisa and Jisoo are also wearing a weird look on their faces.

You ignored them and prepared yourself. You're going to tell Jennie your daily pick up lines but this time, this one is given to you by Jisoo. She told you this is very effective at making somebody laugh. You gulped and then went in front of Jennie and others to stop them. She didn't give you any reaction at all since she know what's coming.

It's time for 'If I make you laugh, you have to date me' challenge. You suggested this to Jennie three months ago but her competitive ass won't let you win at all. You're not giving up. As long as she's single, then it's hella possible.

"Jennie..."

You glanced at Jisoo, she's giving you her thumbs up to cheer you up. You secretly raised you thumb also to thank her in advance.

"...Are you a booger?"

Lisa, Rosé, and Jennie's jaws dropped at your question. Jisoo kicked Jennie from behind to respond to you.

"W-what? W-why? Pfft..." Jennie regained her composure and raised her brows despite all that weird twitching in her lips.
For the record, that's the longest she's ever said to you.

"because..."

"I'd pick you always."

Silence.

You dejectedly sighed as your shoulders fell. You've been trying day by day but why won't she-

"Ha...Ha..."

Silence that were followed with loud laughter from the four. Even Jennie cant hold herself back and laughed wildly at what you said. You winked at teary-eyed Jisoo to thank her because her method is a success.

"OH GOD! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Yo Y/N! We still sane bro HAHAHAHA?"

"Y/N is the BEST HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

They didn't stop laughing at all. Rosé was already in the floor with Jisoo. Hitting each other like there's no tomorrow and Lisa was holding her knees for support.

Jennie's holding her tummy while laughing out loud. You can't help but smile as you saw how her eyes disappeared as her gummy smile surfaced. You feel so happy inside.

Minutes after, the four girls slowly recovered. Jisoo looks like she just cried while Lisa and Rosé are still wiping their eyes from laughing too much. Jennie feel her jaw and throat hurting a bit from too much laughing. She lost control over her emotions and she can't even give you an annoyed nor a pokerfaced look.

You smiled at her wholeheartedly. "You laughed! That means you'll date me, right?"

She sighed, still smiling.

Jennie's so amazed at your perseverance.
She thought you were just another one like the others who gives up after snobbing/humiliating/annoying them. You were so clueless at the hints she's giving. Like blushing or getting anxious while you're nearby. That made you more attractive to her. She likes how pure you are as a person.

"Okay, you win..."

"...See you around, Y/N."

She smiled and she tucked her loose hair strands. They four walked past you, the girls giving you proud smiles on their faces, excluding Jisoo, who's still giggling like crazy. She couldn't move on from what you said.

"In Jisoo's name!"

You punched the air happily when they left. You cannot believe it! All it took was a piece of advice from Jisoo. All those months of trying to make Jennie agree with dating you are worth it. She made a fool out of you but no matter how embarrassed you are, you never gave up. Everything is worth if it means getting to see her gummy smile everytime. You'd trade everything for her.

It has been minutes but you're still overflowing with happiness.

"I'm gonna date her~" You hum as you hop around the hallway.

You swear you're going to buy Jisoo a whole chicken later.
