Let's Do This Thing

                Kiss Me More was playing on the radio. RING RING! Charli was just about to leave her bedroom and go out into the living room in her apartment, when her phone was ringing. It was her childhood friend, Alex. They had known each other since pre-school, but fell apart during high school. Alex started becoming more and more popular, while Charli fell in with the nerds and weebs. While Alex made new friends with the cheer-leaders, Charli made friends with fellow anime fans. She picked up the phone.

"Hiya!!!!!" Alex squealed through the phone.

"Hey..." Charli said quietly, even though it was pretty hard because of her high-pitch voice.

"Soooooo, guess what! I'm making a YouTube group called the Squad! And.....YOU'RE INVITED TO JOIN!!!!" At this point, Charli wouldn't be surprised if the whole apartment building could her Alex's happy-scream. 

"EEEE!" Charli couldn't help but squeal as well. She wondered who else would be in the Squad, but at this point she didn't care, she was just happy to be a part of something with Alex, her best friend.

"Alright, so is that a yes?" Alex asked.

"Of course!!!!!!" Charli was overwhelmed with excitement

"Yay! Also, even BIGGER news! So, the WHOLE squad is going to be moving into a MANSION in TEXAS!!!"

          Soon, the girls  squealing got so loud that someone had to tell them to quiet down. After an hour or two, Alex and Charli made a plan for Charli to sell the apartment, pack up, and board a plane to Texas where Alex would pick her up and take her to the mansion. So thats what Charli did.

AT THE AIRPORT WITH ALEX AND CHARLI

             Charli got outside the airport and felt Alex run up and hug her. The two missed each other so much that the two fell into a long hug, and smiled. It had been so long since they seen each other in person.

           After some talking, Alex led Charli to the car, and they drove back to the mansion. Charli couldn't wait to meet everyone! Alex has only mentioned Zach, Light, Drake, and Jade, and she hadn't said much about them. In the car they were singing along to No Mercy from Spotify. 

"🎵You should've picked mercyyy!!!🎵"

"🎵I'm not gonna be any kind of supportttt!🎵"

"🎵We ended up losinggg, and it's all your faultttt!🎵"

"🎵Your tears are what I live forrrr!!🎵"

They stopped singing as they pulled into the driveway. Charli and Alex pulled out some orange suitcases and an orange squirrel cage from the trunk and set them on the front porch. Alex headed in through the back, and let Jade open the door while yelling at Zach.

"SHUT UP ZACH!!"

"SHUT UP JADE!!"

          Jade then realized that someone was at the door. Someone new. The Pizza man is usually cool with the yelling, but an orange haired girl had covered her ears. She was cute, to Jade. But someone like this orange-haired girl couldn't possibly be single. Soon, Charli turned around to see a blue car leaving in the driveway. 

       When Charli faced Zach and Jade again, Zach's eyes were full of tears. 

"Hey, pink hair guy, what's wrong?" Charli asked Zach.

"It's just... that guy in the blue car is my brother Drake. He's leaving for college, and he's leaving the Squad..." Zach said, trying not to cry even though he was failing.
