The Light to Her World

IN THE AFTERNOON

      Light hated how she simped for him. Wait, did he? He couldn't help but staring at her bright red hair, and her beautiful orange eyes that he could stare into for hours. He knew that she felt something, but he wasn't sure what. And it was the same with him. He felt something for Charli, but what was it? Did he love her? No, she had someone else, probably. But he just wanted to kiss her. Then again, a girl like her couldn't possibly be single.

          Still, he loved her. He wanted to be her Light, literally. And he would do anything just to get that. Of course, he couldn't tell anyone. The fandom 'knew' that he didn't love her, so they made fan edits of it anyways. Nobody knew but he secretly loved those edits. It pained him to see Charli upset in those videos.

                   It had been around two or three months since Charli joined the Squad. Her relationship with Jade was still a secret, so she simped for Light instead. But a certain purple-haired boy had caught the L word.

           Lice. JK, JK. It was Love. Light was in love, but he was also in denial. What if Charli didn't like him back? Had he rejected her all those times for it to be too late? So he decided to go to Charli to find out. 

      He went in Charli's room, to see Jade leaving it. What had they been doing? Were they dating? Light saw some blush on Charli's face as he entered the room, so he sat down next to her.

"So, how are you?" He asked Charli, feeling awkward.

"I'm good! Listen, I'm sorry if this is about being a simp. The truth is-" Charli was cut off by Light.

"No, no, it's fine. I... I actually like it." This was it. Light could confess. 

"Really? Because I was going to say that I have a girlfriend..." Charli liked Light, but she loved Jade ten times more. 

"O-Oh.... Oh... That's fine, I'm happy for you." But Light wasn't happy. He was jealous. Jealous that Jade had gotten Charli before he even got the chance. He would get his revenge. Revenge on Jade for stealing her away from him. But how?

"Just, please don't tell anyone. We were hoping on making it in a video."

    Great. The public would soon know. And if he wanted to shoot his shot... it was too late now. His only choice was to... take out Jade. And NOT for a date.

     But it would take lots and lots of planning. How we would do it, what he would use, what would happen afterwords, and covering up his tracks. Maybe he could force the two apart and they would move on, and no blood will be spilled. He wanted, no needed to be the ONLY Light To Her World.

And anyone who threatened his spot was going to get it.
