Madison's POV:

I can't believe I'm about to do this. My whole life is about to change. The only thing standing between me and my dream guy is his bedroom door. I take a deep breath and knock on his door.

"Come in!" He says.

I open the door and walk inside his room. I close his door behind me and just stand in front of the door.

"What are you doing? Come sit down." He says while laughing.

I walk over to his bed and sit at the end of it. All night I thought about how I was going to tell him this, I didn't even tell the others I'm doing this.

"What's up?" He asks while looking at me.

"Uhm, I need to tell you something." I say.

"Why are you being so serious?" He asks.

"Because what I'm about to tell you is serious. And honestly I'm scared to tell you." I say.

"You don't have to be scared, you can tell me anything." He says while moving closer to me.

"I don't know how to tell you." I say.

"Just say it." He says.

"Okay, well. I think I might-" I start saying but his bedroom door opens so we both look over and see Matt walking in.

"Josh, Sophia's at the door. She said she needs to tell you something." He says while looking at me and then back at Josh. I can tell he's confused why I'm in here, but he also kind of has an idea of what I'm doing.

"Okay, I'll be down in a minute." Josh says.

Matt walks out of the room and closes the door behind him.

"What were you saying?" He asks me.

"It was nothing, it can wait. You should go see what Sophia wants." I say.

"Are you sure? Because she can wait." He says.

"I'm sure." I say.

"Okay." He says while we get off his bed and walk downstairs. He goes to the front door while I go to the living room where my friends are.

When I get into the living room, all my friends are staring at me. I walk over and sit next to Olivia.

"What?" I ask.

"Don't act stupid with us, what were you doing in Josh's room?" Frankie says.

"I was just talking to him." I say.

"With the door closed?" Matt asks.

"Yes." I say.

"What were you talking about?" Olivia asks.

"We didn't get to talk about it." I say. I hear Sofia gasp loudly before talking.

"You were going to tell him you like him!" She says.

"How do you know I was going to say that?" I ask.

"Madison, you act like we don't know you at all. That's definitely what you were going to tell him." Roman says.

"Okay fine. I was about to tell him but then Matt came in and said Sophia was here." I say.

"Are you kidding me? So if she hadn't showed up you were going to tell Josh about your feelings for him?" Brookelynn asks.

"Yes." I say.

"But what about Griffin?" Sofia asks.

"I don't know. He's a good guy and all but I just kind of feel awkward around him, but maybe it's because I haven't got to know him." I say.

"You must feel really confused about all of this." Olivia asks.

"I am." I say.

"Don't worry, we're here for you. We'll help you get through this." Brookelynn says.

We hear the front door open and close and then Josh walks into the living room and sits next to Matt.

"What was that about?" Matt asks.

"She told me that she broke up with her boyfriend for me." He says.

We all start looking at each other with wide eyes and then look back at Josh.

"What did you tell her?" Roman asks.

"I didn't know what to say so I told her to let me think about it." He says.

"How do you feel about that?" Sofia asks.

"She seems like a nice girl but I don't really know her." He says.

"So you would like to get to know her better?" Roman asks.

"Maybe?" He says.

My phone starts ringing so I walk outside to the pool area to answer it.

"Hello?" I say.

"Hey Madison. There's this party tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to come, you're friends can come too." Griffin says.

"Yeah, that sounds like fun. We'll come." I say.

"Okay, I'll see you tonight." He says.

We hang up and I walk back inside to everyone looking at me when I go back into the living room.

"Why are you all staring at me?" I ask.

"Oh, it's nothing." Josh says.

"Okay? That was Griffin, he invited us to a party tonight and I said that we'll go." I say.

"Sounds fun!" Brookelynn says.

"Sounds like a bunch of drama waiting to happen." Frankie says.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask.

"Oh nothing." He says while getting up and going into the kitchen.

"Josh, you should invite Sophia. Then maybe you can get to know her better." Roman says.

"Yeah, maybe I will." He says.
