For those of you unfamiliar with the Royal Romance story...
It's about a waitress who meets a Prince one night, and is swept away to a foreign land to compete for his hand in marriage. As this is a visual novel, the reader gets to choose whether she will fall in love with the Prince, or if another will steal her heart...
This is a selection of "what-if" moments where I decided to deviate from canon. The love story here between Jen and Maxwell was a super slow burn and there was plenty of potential for things to start sooner!
These scenarios all happen in isolation of each other, so "what nearly happened" in a previous scenario never happened in the following scenario, if that makes sense!
The story starts by setting the scene, then tells what could have happened, then recaps to what actually happened.
