Story 1: Enemies to Lovers

It was a very gloomy time in Different But Human, and the server-wide team challenge event began. It was quite a sight. For the first time in forever, the chat was never seen so active before. It was like the birds chirping in spring but instead, it is like a bunch of hurricanes because activity just spikes like crazy. In the words of Mystic "Different But Human has the potential to become an amazing server, it just needs certain triggers", so how he managed to provide activity was through the first-ever "Server TEAM EVENT". This is the tale of how a young man came to hate and then love someone, he met during this event. This is the tale of a young man who has the tendency to lurk and expose to the weirdest things about people. This is the story of a young man who has gotten a lot of simps and popularity in the server after this event.

February 28st 2021

Today was the day when we had our "Try not to leave VC" challenge. It was quite a perplexing day because there were several people that one wouldn't normally see active, joined this challenge. Amongst those people, we had the young man, Alan. Alan at this point in time wasn't really active in DBH. He joined Team Kazi because he thought he would just lurk there and see what the rising staff member's team looked like. The team was relatively dead and Team Kazi was dead last. Alan decided to see what he could do for his team and joined the event.

The stakes were suddenly raised higher as a nitro was put in place for the winner. Now the little greedy person Alan was, he wanted all of that nitro just to himself. What a greedy human being

Anyway, the event began and Alan was just muted in the VC, just hearing people's conversations so awkwardly. As this went on, more and more people were eliminated. We got to the Top 5 and they were Zach, Thomas, Alan, Maddy, and Steven. Steven had to go because of the family so he made a relatively early leave. Thomas had some complications but it eventually lead him to drop out. 

OK PAUSE

THIS IS MYSTIC, FOR THOSE WHO WEREN'T IN THE SERVER AT THE TIME, YOU DON'T KNOW WHO MADDY WAS, JUST KNOW SHE IS SOMEONE. ALSO, AT THIS POINT, DO YOU THINK ALAN WON THE TRY NOT TO LEAVE THE VC CHALLENGE IF YOU WEREN'T ON THE SERVER? ALSO, THIS IS ALL REAL BY THE WAY. 100% AUTHENTIC REAL-LIFE EVENTS IN DIFFERENT BUT HUMAN. EVEN THE DATE IS CORRECT!

OK BACK TO THE STORY

Alan was in the top 3 in this event, and quite shockingly, he suddenly rose in popularity. Everyone wanted him to win and everyone grew to love him. In an unexpected turn of events, Alan got kicked out of VC because his device died that night. It was so sad. Everyone was left in tears as the crowd favorite just lost because of a stupid technology issue.

Alan was filled with rage that day, so he made a vow. The vow was to practice the art of not leaving a VC because that rage made him hate VCs soo much, he needed to redeem himself for such an embarrassing loss. 

As time went on, Alan felt that anger go away, and as more time went on, he eventually fell in love. He fell in love with voice chat. About two months later after the incident.

Alan confessed to VC, showing his love and affection through all the Voice Chat Exp he has gathered, is each piece of the puzzle for his heart and it is just filled with VC. Since VC is a non-living thing, it can't respond to Alan's true feeling but Alan continues to live his life just being madly in love with an imaginary thing

A Little Love Advice from Mystic (Not the best at this but this is primarily opinion-based):

When you love someone, you love everything about them, including all their faults. When I used "each piece of the puzzle" I refer to traits that lead to love. One can't be human without having an unattractive quality. You can't truly love someone if you love all the good and bad things about someone. I am quoting John Legend's "All of Me" right now but "Love all of your perfect imperfections". No human is created perfect and there will always be imperfections. Try to love those too! I'm sure the experience of love will be much better!
