The Hotel Room Hook Up

My First Big Case

You, Emily and JJ walk into the police department and are greeted by the lead detective. He brings you to where the rest of the team was set up. Reid had already started working on the map, You had just barely walked in the door when Hotch started talking. “There has been another murder” “Same Victim type?” you ask. “Yes,” JJ says.

 “Okay Prentiss and Y/L/N go to the crime scene, Morgan and Reid go to the morgue, JJ you talk to the press Rossi and I will talk to the families.” Hotch says. 

When Hotch says this Emily lets out a sigh. “Hotch, I can go to the crime scene alone,” she says, sounding annoyed.

 “ No Emily Y/N is going with you, we need to see how she is out in the field.” Hotch says back to her. 

She huffs and walks away, you not far behind her. “Prentiss” you call out but she doesn’t answer. Instead she just walks into the elevator not waiting for you. 

“Hey y/l/n '' JJ calls out to you “Yeah JJ? What's up? You ask her now about a foot away. “What was that about back there?” she asks “What do you mean” you say a little confused “ What happened with Emily” she asks looking sort of concerned. “Honestly I have no idea, I was going to try and talk to her but she walked away” you tell her.

 “ Oh okay I was just wondering cause she seemed angry” she says as you walk to the elevator. “Well she is gonna have to talk to me, we work together.” You say getting on the elevator. 

“‘I’m sure she will come around, you just have to give her a chance, oh and y/n good luck” she says waving as the elevator doors close.

You walk out of the police department and find Emily sitting in the SUV waiting for you. You get in the car and close the door. “Emily” you say “Yes” she answers back “Did I offend you in some way?” you ask, sounding annoyed “No you didn’t” she says “Then what was that back there?” you ask “It was nothing” she says driving off. 

About 30 minutes later you arrived at the crime scene. When you finish at the crime scene you and Emily head back to the police department.

 “Hotch the crime scene was similar to the others,” you say “okay good work” he says to you and Emily. The rest of the day was busy, you gave out the profile and told people to be careful and not to go out too late alone. “Okay everyone, today has been a long day. I want you all to go to the hotel and get some sleep. We will continue tomorrow morning.” Hotch says
“Hey y/n, do you need a ride?” JJ asks.
“Yeah actually I do” you say “Alright are you ready?” she asks “Yup let’s go” you say as you both get onto the elevator.
You both arrive at the hotel.
“Thanks for the ride JJ and goodnight.” you say grabbing your room key “Of course and have a good night y/n” she says as you both go to your rooms. 

You unlock your room and walk in, closing the door and locking it behind you. You decide to take a shower before you go to sleep. Before you get in the shower you decide to put on some music to listen to, after you do that you get into the shower. When you finish showering you wrap a towel around yourself and walk out of the warm bathroom into the cool bedroom. 

You grab a pair of shorts and a big t-shirt out of your bag to change into after you are done changing you decide to go and talk to Emily so you put your shoes on and grab your room key walking out of the door.

You knock on Emily’s room door and she answers it. “Hey y/n, is everything okay?” she asks letting you into the room “yeah I just wanted to talk” you say walking in. 

I know this chapter is kind of boring but I promise the next one will be better.
