If KOTLC Characters Went On A Roadtrip (PART THREE)

Chapter 2

Sophie's POV:

Keefe, Biana, and Fitz glittered into view simultaneously. I was sitting by Calla's panakes tree when they arrived, eating a doughnut. "What is that?" Keefe asked examining the doughnut in my hand. " Ah oughut." I say, my full mouth making my words slur. "A what what?" Keefe asks confused. I swallow and am about to reply when realization flashes across his face and he interrupts. "Oh! It's a doughnut!" he exclaims. "Can I have some?" he asks making a puppy face. I stand up and roll my eyes, handing him a bite. He pops it in his mouth. He frowns. "It's kinda dry, and the frosting is really bitter." he says sadly. A/N: Then he dies of food poisoning! (Just so you know, that's a joke) "Well sorry to disappoint!" I say brushing my crumby hands on my pants. Biana gasps. "Your pants!" she exclaims and rushes over to me. "What? They're bound to get messy anyway." I say, shrugging. Biana droops, knowing I would never care. Linh, Tam, and Wylie arrive. Keefe snorts and bursts out laughing. I see Tam's headband and know why. I try to stiffle my laugh. "Awww. Your headband's adorable!" Biana says and rushes over to Tam. She straightens his headband on his head and leans back on her heels, pleased. Dex and Marella arrive. Biana sees Marella's outfit. She gasps. "Your outfit it wrinkled!" Biana shrieks and tries desperately to smooth it down, but the wrinkles persisted. I look around at all of us and realize Fitz is missing. "Where did Fitz go?" I ask. Everyone looks around. "Everyone split up. Biana and Tam, woods. Wylie and Linh, caves. Marella and Dex, pastures. Me and Keefe, house." I say and everyone disperses. Me and Keefe rush into the house and we see Fitz in the kitchen, stuffing his face with doughnuts. "Fitz?" I ask no one in particular. He looks up with crumbs and frosting all over his face. He takes a loooong moment to finish chewing and swallowing. He brushes crumbs off his face, smearing frosting everywhere.  He clears his throat. "Ummmmm....." he starts to say but his voice drifts off. "What are you doing? You worried us! We were looking everywhere for you!" I say to him, accusingly. He hangs his head. "I just wanted doughnuts." he says, keeping his eyes on the floor. "Wait, Fitzy, you like those things?" Keefe says like it's a bad thing. Fitz shrugs. "Welp, we better go tell everybody we found you." I say and head out the door. "GUYS! WE FOUND HIM!" I shout as loud as my lungs can handle. A minute later, everybody's gathered my the panakes tree again. "Where was he?" Biana says frantically, rushing over to Fitz. "Wait, is that doughnut frosting?" she asks, wiping it off his face. "Yeah, Fitzy was stuffing his face with doughnuts." Keefe snorts. "Really Fitz?" everyone asks, simultaneously. We all laugh. Fitz looks embarrassed, hanging his head to hide his warm face. He shuffles his feet and we all stand there in awkward silence. "Soooo...." Fitz says, trying to say something to break the silence. "Soooo...." Keefe says mimicking Fitz's voice perfectly, nailing the accent in the face. A/N: That sounded weird... Linh giggles. Soon everyone is cracking up for some reason. I realize we have to go. "Come on, time to go!" I say and pull everyone off the edge of the cliff to teleport.
