Adopted By Iballisticsquid!!

Introduction:

Hi, My names Jade and I am 12 years old. I have been in an Orphanage basically all my life. I have been "adopted" a few times, but the never lasted very long. Ether they would adopt me then realize that they are not ready to be parents, or just simply lose interest in me.... Which is not uncommon, people that I end up getting close to leave me, and a result of that is that I don't get close to people, My life is on the internet, I will spend all day in my "room" watching Youtube on my phone. I have one friend named Josh, and he has always been there for me. When I first met him, I actually really liked him, although he eventually turned into more of a brother.

Hi! My name is David, and I am 25 years old. I have an amazing girlfriend named Nicole, and we have been together since high school. We have tried to have a baby a few times, but it never works, so we have come to the conclusion that we would rather adopt than keep trying and getting disappointed. Plus neither of us like baby's much, so adopting a kid around 12-14 would be ideal. We currently have a 13 year old (Lee) living with us because things happened to his parents, so he asked if he could say with us for awhile. He still thinks that they are going to eventually come back, but i am not have much faith. Joe (our roommate) and Lee are the only ones we told that we are going to try and adopt a child, and they have mixed feelings about it. I am a YouTuber and I have almost let it slip a few times, but good thing I edit my videos. I don't want to get everyone all excited and then have something not work out. I am almost positive everything will be fine, although you never know.

"Are you nervous?" I ask Nicole. We are going to the first orphanage today to look around. We are not planning on bringing anyone home today, but we still are going to see if anyone sticks out.

"A little, although i am also very excited..... How about you?" Nicole replies

"Yeah, i'm nervous, but also exited".... I say, "I am just worried about finding the right kid, I know a lot of kids get adopted and taken back so many times, especially the older ones, so i do not want to end up doing that to them. So i want to make sure that it is a 100% match, before we promise them anything."

"I agree".... She said

"Alright, you ready to go?" I ask

"Yep".... She replied. We gather everything up and tell Lee where we were going. Joe was over at his girlfriend's house, so we just asked Lee to inform him when he gets back.

The drive there was quiet, I tried to make small talk, but it never went anywhere. I wonder if she is just that nervous or if there is something she is not telling me. Although I just push it away and focus on driving.

After about an hour drive, we finally pull into the driveway. It is an old looking building that is not very welcoming,

"David, are you sure we are at the right place?" Nicole asked

"According to the directions and the sign down there, yeah".... I reply

"Ok, It just does not look like the pictures on the website," She said

"Never judge a book by it's cover," I chuckle as I reply... I look over and see that she is not very impressed... "No... ok, sorry" I try my best to not laugh, but it does not work. So she smacks me playfully on the arm. "Ouch!!! She smacked me!!" I yell

"DAVID!!" She quietly yelled "Shut up"

"It's not my fault you smacked me" I replied

"I barely touched you.... But I am going to smack you if you do it again" She said angrily
