As Jonathan ran through the grass. David, the father, walked to Jonathan. With a few things. Jonathan saw his father and stopped running. He knew his father wouldn't be too happy if he hurt himself. David knelt down to Jonathan.
"Jonathan. I have a few gifts I want to give you, before me and your mother go on our trip."
"Okay daddy-Jonathan corrected himself- father."
David looked a little bit worried.
"Son, how come you corrected yourself when you said 'daddy'?"
"Grandpa told me that only girls call dads daddy. And that boys can only call moms mommy."
David looked back at the house and rolled his eyes.
"You can call me daddy whenever you want son."
Jonathan's smile grew big.
"Sooo what did you get me?" Jonathan said.
David grabbed a bag. He first pulled out a teddy bear.
"Here we have Mr. Teddy. It has stuff he can say but don't listen to it until you're 15th birthday okay?"
Jonathan smile slowly turned in a frown.
"But I 5 dats 10 more years!"
David laughed and pulled out something else.
