YOU ALONGSIDE the rest of the team members entered the van coach and mr takeda rented to drive to tokyo. hinata and kageyama had to stay behind to finish up their make up classes, kageyama failing traditional japanese and hinata failing his english.
the ride to tokyo was surprisingly quiet because most of the guys were asleep. you took our your phone and insert your earphones (yes we don't do airpods) into your ears, playing your spotify playlist while staring out the window.
"we're here." a voice woke you up from your slumber. you fell asleep without realising and you hurriedly stood up from your seat and grab your stuff as well as some things for the team. everyone stepped out of the van, some still yawning and rubbing their eyes.
you walked behind asahi and sugawara. "the view isn't so different from miyagi..." asahi trailed off. "that's because we are in the suburbs, asahi." both you and sugawara said at the same time, causing laughter between you three. you paced up to the entrance of shinzen high and you stood there behind the chaotic second year duo.
"WHOA, IS THAT... TOKYO SKYTREE?!" you heard nishinoya and tanaka asked in unison with their eyes straight at the transmission tower. "no, that's just a normal transmission tower." a male with short hair replied with a small smile, then you heard a hyena- like laughter erupted from the boy next to him.
he had a weird hairstyle, it seemed like a mess and it was all over the place, but it fit him well. you couldn't help but notice that he looked attractive. you couldn't help but laughed along after witnessing what happened.
"oi, don't make miyagi look bad. we have transmission tower there, too." you uttered and pushed tanaka and nishinoya to move forward, heading towards the gym room of shinzen high.
you didn't recognise anyone from the campsite since you haven't met them before. you were the new manager after all. the "golden week" training camp was pretty long ago. (a/n: it's inaccurate ok i have no sense of time i'm sorry)
you and the rest of the team entered the gymnasium and every team was practicing among themselves. a male with a mohawk approached nishinoya and tanaka, they kept calling each other "bro" and patted each other's back with hard slaps.
"oi, tanaka bro. you guys got a new manager already?" he asked and tanaka laughed obnoxiously. "yes bro! a pretty one too," they continued with their conversation as you paced down towards the empty bench and placed down the bag of the boys bottle and towel.
most of the boys in the gym were big, tall and loud. you watched as a boy with silver hair and cat- like green eyes stared at asahi and sugawara. you heard the boy in half- bleached hair spoke with the short hair guy from earlier. he must be kenma, you thought since hinata talked about him before.
"y/n, this is nekoma's captain." daichi approached you, the boy with the weird hair from earlier stood next to him. he looked taller up close, you thought. "oh~ karasuno's new manager huh? i'm kuroo tetsurou." he introduced with his hand extended. you shook his hand in return and introduced yourself too. "y/n kuzimin."
