Chapter 14: firewood

You are all walking when Cassie stops.

Cassie: its getting late guys we should probably set up camp.

Y/n: are you sure we have time Cassie?

Cassie: well we cant fight or strategize when were tired.

Y/n: true, alright well we'll set up camp.

Cassie: ok well y/n you go get firewood.

Y/n: yes ma'am.

Cassie: Jacqui you set up a campfire circle so we can set up fire and set up the camp.

Jacqui: you got it.

Cassie: Takeda you stay here and help Jacqui with setting up camp.

Takeda: ok.

Cassie: And Jin you go hunting.

Kung jin: yes ma'am.

Cassie: and i'll go help y/n with the firewood.

Jacqui: you do know that firewood isnt that hard to get, you just wanna be around your boyfr-

Cassie: dont you even say it Jacqui.

Takeda and Jacqui chuckle.

Short timeskip

You were collecting firewood and you only collected about 5 pieces and you need about 15 so yiur doing ok.

You then hear footsteps and turn around and point a shadow swird at their throat, but it was Cassie.

Y/n: oh shit my bad Cass.

Cassie: your fine i mean i might have nightmares but its ok.

You both chuckle.

Y/n: sorry.

You both start walking collecting firewood.

Y/n: so why did you want to help me collect firewood its not that hard.

Cassie: I just wanted to ask you something.

Y/n: and whats that?

Cassie: when you first joined you insantly clicked with me, why?

Y/n: i just knew you were the best out of all of them and that i could befriend you without trouble and that you were i dont know like me, and plus your parents raised me so we knew each other as kids so i just like you better, dont tell the others.

You stop her by crashing your lips against her's she is surprised at first and you thought that she would probably nut punch you.

But she melted into the kiss while closing her eyes.

You sneak your tongue into her mouth and start a tongue war.

She wins the tongue war and explores her new territory.

You guys separate from the kiss for air, while looking into each other's eyes she says.
