I sighed.

I'm chatting with my "little sis", Dakota on Facebook.

Jake: Sissy :3

Dakota: Big bro :D

I laughed at her reply. Well, this is our everyday chat.

DING!

Facebook alerted me that Dakota chatted me once again.

Dakota: What's up? ^^

Jake: Look at my chat with my crush. XD

Jake sent a photo.

Dakota: Oh my gosh. You are SO corny! XD

Jake: Hahaha yeah. :3

Dakota: Hahaha :3

I smiled. We chatted until it was already late. After Dakota went offline, Faye sent a message.

Faye: Hello. :)

I blushed and I quickly replied.

Jake: Hey :)

Faye: How's life? ^^

Jake: Good. :3

Me and Faye chatted for a few minutes before she goes to bed. I smiled and whispered,

"Please notice that I'm good for you."

It's been a few months since I got a crush on Faye. I mean, come on. She's everything I wanted in a girl. She is sweet, friendly, loves basketball (like me) and she's beautiful! I wanted to tell her that I like her but... I don't know if she likes me.

DING!

Facebook notified me. I looked and it was Faye herself. My heart skipped a beat.

Faye: Hey! :3

Jake: Yo! :D

Faye: We're bestfriends, right? My friends kept saying we're in a relationship. :/

Ouch. My heart broke.

Jake: Yeah! Best of friends! :)

That smiley emoticon isn't genuine. I just wished she could see how much I really love her.

Faye: Hahaha yup! :3

Jake: Um.. I got to go. Me and my mom need to go to the mall. :)

Faye: Sure. Bye! ^^

I logged out from this Facebook account to my other one where she isn't my friend. I chatted my "little sis" again.

Jake: Sis! XD

Dakota: Big bro! Why? :3

Jake: Something happened. :'(

Dakota: What? D:

I told Dakota what happened. She seemed sad about this, because she's been updated when I blush on something Faye did or said. I wanted to be sad, but I have to stay strong.

Jake: Sis, I have to go now. :3 Don't worry about me, okay? :)

Dakota: Okay big bro... :(

I logged out for good and laid down on my bed. There, I thought of so many things and questions. What if...? There are so many thoughts that kept me awake.

I remembered the time I gave Faye's favorite player's jersey. She squealed and thanked me so much. I laughed. It was her birthday and I promised her that gift, so I gave it to her. It was a special memory for me.

I sighed.

I stayed strong for too long.
