After a few days

29 August. It was Avantika's birthday. She got up early and prayed to God. She thought that nikhil didn't know about it.

"Good morning Avantika", he said.

"Good morning", she replied with a smile.

He smiled back and picked up the newspaper.

"Anything else??", she asked.

"Umm..no", he replied.

She was sure that he doesn't know and she thought not to tell him.

By the time, Avantika's phone rang. It was monisha's call.

"Happy birthday beta", she said.

"Thank you maa", she replied.

Nikhil showed as if wasn't paying any attention to her

"So what's the plan for today", she asked.

"Nothing maa", she whined.

"Why??", she asked.

"What would I do alone??", avantika told.

"Nikhil doesn't remember", monisha muttered.

"He doesn't know maa", avantika said

"Give him the phone", she ordered.

"No maa...let it be. He is already very busy with the project so I don't want him to take more stress about preparations", she said.

Nikhil smirked. He acted as if he doesn't get what they were talking about.

One by one all the family members wished her while nikhil went to washroom to show that he didn't listen anything what they were talking about.

"Bhabhi, please give the phone to bhaiya", kinjal said.

"Nikhil is in wash...", she said but before she could complete he came out.

She handed over the phone to nikhil.

"Bhaiya, I miss you", kinjal said.

"Miss you too...my lil mental sis", he teased.

"Bhai!!", she groaned.

"Okay...sorry", nikhil said with a chuckle.

"You know...today I made breakfast for everyone. Paneer, chapati and even aamras", she told excitedly.

"God save everyone... is everyone okay?? Or anyone is in hospital after eating that??", he teased her again.

"I hate you bhaiya", she pouted.

"But I love you", nikhil said.

Avantika was smiling throughout.

"Bhai...I wanted to tell that today is bhabhi's birthday", she told.

"Um...avantika while I am talking, can you please call shivam and ask him to send me the details of land", he asked avantika so that she doesn't hear about his surprise.

"Sure", avantika said and took Nikhil's phone. She walked up to the balcony and made the call.

"Kinjal...I know it", nikhil said in a low voice so that avantika couldn't get any idea of his surprise.

"So have you planned a surprise for her?", she asked excitedly.

"Yes!!", he replied.

Bhai...promise me you will send me the pictures of the party", she said like a kid.
