What's better than a night out with your friends after a long day of work? That's exactly what my friends and I decided to do after a long day at the studio.I don't really drink, but I still decided to tag along as the guys went to their favorite bar. They actually know them by name here, that's how frequent they are.15 drinks and 3 dart rounds later, everyone was leaving one by one. After a bit, it was only me and Ken left. A true gentleman, he decides to walk me to my car."Can't believe it's already past midnight! I should be in bed" I say looking at my phone"OkAy, CiNDeRelLa" he mocks me jokingly which made me almost giggle"You know what I-" I roll my eyes at him and don't even finish my thought realizing that he was teasing me for no reason"Yeah, yeah. I'm just playing" he says as we get to my carWe stay looking at each other for a few seconds."Tonight was fun though" I say.For some reason I'm feeling excited and nervous all at the same time. And I can't seem to stop smiling like an idiot."For sure. I always have fun with you" he says in his slow speech as his body's inching closer
Here go those damn butterflies in my belly. "You know I like you right?" He finally says bluntly I was totally caught off guard by that. I can feel my cheeks turning bright red. Why does he make me feel like a high school girl? I'm a 26 year old grown ass woman. "I..... like you too.... but you know I got a mans" I trail off trying to resist the tension of this moment between us "Pshh that poor guy you've been dragging all over town? He's what, 23? Nah, that's a boy, not a mans" An explosive giggle escaped my throat as he said that. I couldn't hold it in. He did have a point. I was seeing a young man but we both knew it wasn't serious. I actually ended it a few days earlier. But Ken didn't know that! I used it as an excuse because I was too nervous to kiss Ken. I wanted to though. But first I wanted to drag out this exciting moment between us. You know, "the drumroll" as they call it. "Well, we are dating so... we can't do this" "Yeah ok. But you want us to kiss right now?" He says with a cheeky smile on his face as his stare falls to lips He stares me up and down making my heart race On the inside I'm screaming "YYYYES WTF KISS THAT BOY" but all I could do on the outside was smile and look down "You're trouble" I finally say "Kiss me" he says "I want to but I have a sort of boyfriend and you're drunk"
"Yeah? Kiss me anyway"And with that, I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him in. As our lips crash into each other, I feel his hands on the small of my back, pulling me on to him.It only lasted a few seconds more, but our kiss was explosive."There. Happy?" I say not being able to keep my lips from smiling"Yeah but I want more" Ken says and pulls me in again. This time his hands grab each side of my waist. He's holding me like he never wants to let me go."You gotta end it with that poor dude" he says braking our kiss"Yeah don't worry about it, we already broke up last Monday. Wanna go back to my place?" I fire back making his jaw drop"You sneaky little minx, yes, come on" he jokes back and hastily gets in my car.
