Everything tingled in his body, he heard ringing in his ears and sounds of fire crackling. Ethan couldn't open his eyes, He doesn't remember much except saying goodbye to Rosemary and pressing the trigger. Rosemary.. he though. The blonde knew that she was safe with Chris, that's all he wanted.

He felt like crying. It was finally over, but what now? It was too late for anyone to come save him. Ethan began to open his eyes, wincing at how his face hurt. He was sitting in a giant hole, fire across some areas and ashes around everywhere. He let a tear slip from his face. Why did he survive? he wanted his years of torture to end.

After a while of sorrowing He was able to sit up look around more. It was night now, the fire being the only source of light that there was. Ethan was able to stand up but he didn't dare make a step, the pain in his body was too humiliating. The blonde leaned against a Boulder that stood there, looking up at the sky in hope that someone was there to save him.

He broke down, sobbing loudly letting everything out. He was alone and cold, no one there to comfort him with love, love and affection is what he needed. Mia never gave him that and shoved him away. Did Karl survive? The one lord that he spared from death probably died too. Ethan was able to walk out of the hole barley making it out.

He wondered around, looking for any sign of life that there could possibly be. Ethan was exhausted and empty. Having no energy left in his body as he collapsed on the ground, and the light leaving his eyes as they closed.

karl was the only lord left in the village, he hid in a bomb shelter from the explosion and trying to search out Ethan. The silence in the night was uncomfortable for him, Having being used to the sounds in the factory. He sighted, taking a blunt out and a lighter. There wasn't much left for him. He tripped on something. A rock or something until he looked down to a Ethan winters, laying in the snow with sever wounds.

He was still breathing, but not as much as Karl wanted him to. He gently picked the younger one up, holding him close so that he could warm him up. The dimitrescu castle was not far from where they were so Karl went there, hoping that it was still intact.

When he arrived he looked for blankets or any sort of warmth he could provide Ethan. The blonde was on the couch, sleeping soundly and comfortable.

it took three days for Ethan to wake up. And when he did he was greeted with Karl sitting in a chair beside him. It was awkward seeing him again. They didn't speak a word to each other, a comfortable silence was shared between the two men.

"didn't think you would survive a blast like that winters" Ethan sighted, he shouldn't have survived. He didn't know why he did but he ignored that. He felt tears prick to his eyes, He wanted to see Rosemary again. Karl noticed this and put a hand on Ethans shoulder. "You alright Ethan?" Ethan sniffled a little. he felt weak. He didn't want to act like a crybaby in front of Karl.

Karl pulled Ethan into a hug, It was warm and forgiving. Ethan melted into the Hug, letting out sobs. He wanted everything to End after what he's been through. The night terrors and fear he builded up upon years. Karl held Ethan close, knowing that if he left Ethan there to cry alone he would feel guilty. He knew Ethan missed little Rosie, and that one day they would meet again. But for now they were stuck With each other.

when the sun has rise Ethan was sound asleep on karls chest, hands holding onto his shirt scared that he may leave. He hated the fact that he was being so soft, But karls touch had an effect on him. Ethan sat up and yawned. He forgot the last time that he had a good sleep ever since the bakers incident. He searched through his pocket and pulled out a small picture of Rosemary he always kept. He would miss her for sure, but if he started a new life with Karl, things could be different
