Ashraf has never been a fan of weekends,he does nothing other than sit home and listen to the annoying rants of his sisters

He is currently sitting in his room with his sister by his side.
She barged in and refused to leave,he don't have the energy to send her away he just decided to let her be and continued watching the match on the tv.

"yayahhh!!" Nasreen shrieked and that was enough to gain his attention.
He snapped his head towards her direction.

"what is it again? why are you shouting?" He asked.

"yayah just take a look! one hot wedding is trending on Instagram! The couples are so fine ohhhh my goddd!" She dramatically exclaimed to which Ashraf shook his head.
By now,he is used to his sister's crazy and overdramatic behavior.

"Is that why you're shouting as if something happened?"

"Of course something happened! Yayah it's a grand wedding,the couples are goals oh god! I hope my own will be something like that" she squealed and closed her eyes imagining how her wedding will be.

"Nasreen you're seriously crazy,so you are already thinking of how you wedding will be? you're too young to be thinking of such things"

"Okay okay maybe I'm too young but your wedding is coming up! Afreen and i will be a the prettiest and hottest groom's sisters ever! Your wedding will be sooo grand! It's the wedding of the most handsome guy in Nigeria,I can already imagine how grand and lit it will be" Nasreen spoke,she was so eager for her brother's wedding.

The thought of his marriage made him a little bit nervous,he still didn't know if sareenah will accept his proposal.

"I don't even know if she will accept the proposal and i don't think she will accept. There won't be a grand wedding if she rejects" he spoke.

"Why won't she accept? girls are dying to be with you,you are just so handsome and i don't think any girl will reject you" Nasreen said.

"she has many reasons to reject me,a beautiful girl like her probably has a lot guys to choose from and she doesn't even know me that well. Maybe she likes someone else"

"Yayah you're just so worried about it,but you shouldn't worry. I'm sure she will accept,she can't reject my very handsome brother" Nasreen said.

"It's not about how handsome i-" his sentence was interrupted as the door bursted open revealing a very excited Afreen.

She almost jumped on him in excitement.

"Keh kina hauka neh?" He spoke in hausa.
She just laughed instead of saying something to him.

"I have good news for you yayah" she excitedly spoke.

"What is it?" He asked her.

"You have to guess!" She replied.

"I don't have time for that,just tell me what it is"

"Yaaayahhh! You're so not fun" Nasreen whined, "okay fine i will tell you,sareenah has accepted the proposal! Dad was coming to inform you but he received an important call and so i was asked to forward the good news to you" she said.

Ashraf could not believe what he just heard, he was too happy to even say anything. The only thing that was ringing in his head was sareenah had accepted the proposal. Indeed,this was the best news he has ever heard in his life.

"Alhamdulillah! This is a dream come true,i still can't believe it, It sounds too good to be true,afreen please tell me you're not joking" he needed to be sure that it's not one of his sister's pranks again.

"wallah I'm not kidding! You can even ask maami" she said.

His heart was filled with so much joy and happiness. His new found love had accepted his proposal! Only god knows how happy he was at the moment.

"Afreen you know what? You made me so happy today,you also deserve a gift,You can take my card and go out with your friends or go shopping,just do whatever you want. Spend as much as you like" he spoke with joy evident in his voice.

Afreen was over the moon,one thing she loves is shopping and now she gets to go shopping without spending her money. She squealed and hugged her twin sister,the two continued to squeal like mad people.

Amidst their squealing session,Ashraf walked out of the room,he had to share the good news with his mother.

"Oh god! We're gonna have so much fun today!" Nasreen spoke.

"I know right! Yayah is simply the best! Now let's hurry up and dress up,we've got so much money to spend" and with that being said,the two dashed into their room to get ready.

Ashraf walked down the stairs where he meet his mom in the sitting room. He rushed to her side and hugged her.

"Ahn ahn someone is really happy today" his mom teased.

"Yes maami,I'm very happy today! She said yes! I still can't believe it,this is the best day of my life"

"I'm also happy for you son,I hope you two will have a beautiful future ahead of you and i hope she makes you happy all the time,now let me go to the kitchen,I think my stew is burning up" without waiting for his reply she got up and made her way to the kitchen.

Ashraf was a little bit confused about his mother's behavior. She seemed genuinely happy for him and knows she's against his relationship with sareenah,he wondered the reason behind her sudden change of mind. He didn't want to think about it that much,the only thing that mattered to him was the fact that his mother is now happy about his relationship.

He pulled out his phone from his pocket and thought of sending a text message to sareenah,he recently got her number from his brother. Isn't it too early for me to start texting her? He thought to himself.

well i can't wait anymore,I will text her today.
He made up his mind and scrolled down to his contact list on WhatsApp.

He thought of what to text her,he decided to start with a simple text.

"Hello" he read the message one more time and clicked the 'send' button.

In less than a minute,he got a reply from her which was 'hi'. He introduced himself to her and that's how they continued chatting for almost an hour.
