Walking into school I have an apprehension to my stride, not only am I uncertain of what today will turn out like but I have a heavy weight in my stomach from the message that was sent to me earlier. The fact that I don't even know who it's from puts me on edge. What have I done to have this happen to me ?

I stroll towards the gang. A smile spreads on my lips as I see Georges arm slung over Nivas shoulder Kate and Maggie giggling about something. I see Meg standing alone looking round for someone, when her eyes glance in my direction noticing my presence a smile is placed on her lips as she mets me halfway .

"Hey" she says while pulling me in for a hug her platinum blonde hair tickling my nose as it swishes on her back. Pulling me back with a grin on her face her hazel green eyes staring intently into mine "hey" I reply grinning back at her "what's all this grinning nonsense for?" Sheepishly she replies "well..."
I start to grow anxious "well, spit it out already".

"Eddie asked me out!" She squeals at me. "That's awesome, you said yes right?"

Meg goes through boys like I go through lip balms a new one every month. Though when I say this it doesn't mean she hasn't had a crush on this guy Eddie since about 7th grade.

"Duh, as if I wouldn't", she looks at me like I'm an alien. Shrugging my shoulders I give her my sarcastic side "oh I don't know you are quite picky these days". Frowning she softly slaps my shoulder before joining our arms and dragging me along to the office.

"hey, I haven't said hello to anyone else Meg".I whinge at her. ignoring me she carries on walking towards the office. sighing I give up all together.

As we enter the office I notice a girl looking worried standing by the principals secretary's desk.

I look at her, realising I have never seen her before I stride up to the secretary's desk. "hello mrs Gregory" I say smiling at the plump middle aged lady sitting before me. "Rosie thank goodness your here, Abby here is new at school and has no one to show her around. I was going to but since she's in your year, could you ?" Relief and covers her face as I reply , " I would be delighted mrs Gregory." I say smiling at her before turning to the girl standing next to me.

"Hi if you haven't already guessed I'm Rosie" I bring out my hand waiting for a shake in return. "Hey Rosie if you haven't already guessed I'm Abby"she replies smiling whilst grabbing my hand and shaking it with a shy grin on her face. I laugh at her reply, "I already like you Abby, come on I'll show you to your first class."
