Spencer Reid and Derek Morgan stood beside the desk owned by their partner, Emily Prentiss, taking their time to look around the area for any clue as to where her personal items may be. They knew that she had to keep a few things there since she was almost always in that office, but every piece of the area was too cluttered to clearly see what they were looking for. They had payed the other agent a visit earlier and now all they needed was to find what she said. They looked and they looked, frustrated breaths coming out of their mouths on occasion. Finally, there was a presence by the door that struck them both. The two glanced at each other before slowly turning to face whoever was standing there. To their surprise, it was Elle Greenaway, trying to make her stance look as non-suspicious as possible. With the awkward stares filling the room, she realized that whatever she was trying to do wouldn't work, so she dropped the act. "You guys here 'cause of what Hotch said?" She asked to prove what she was thinking internally.

"No," they both spoke at the same time, exchanging one more glance afterwards. "You?" Reid asked in response, actually unsure what the reply would be.

"Of course not. Damn, Reid, you already forget who I was?" Morgan let out a scoff laugh after hearing her say that, and it kinda pulled him back to the memories with his old friend, but the good ones like their late night shenanigans. He smiled at the thought and Elle smiled aswell, thinking about the same things. "So, what are you here for?" Reid asked another question, his curiosity taking over.

"Did you actually think I wasn't going to rummage through my replacement's stuff at least once while I'm here?" She said sarcastically with a sneaky smirk, starting to look around at the cluttered surroundings. Since the others didn't have any arguments, they also joined looking through everything, but specifically in search for the one thing they'd need.

"Hey," Elle said as she approached Reid, who had his back facing her. She noticed his head dropped down and put her hand on his shoulder to make herself seen but also to provide him with comfort if necessary. He instinctively flinched at her sudden touch before turning to face her, a brown notepad clutched tightly in his hands. She caught a quick glance at it and saw large writing with a red pen before noticing his hand shaking, way worse than hers had the day before. She took her hand off his shoulder and stood there, not knowing exactly what to do. So instead, she used the silence to her advantage and moved her eyes down towards the now-closed notepad, obviously wondering what she'd see on the papers. It took a minute, but finally Reid caught her stare and held it out to her, Elle taking it immediately after. She carefully opened the pad and read the dog-eared page that she knew she had seen before by the red writing. Her eyes skimmed over it at a nice speed to process everything on there, but most of the stuff was too complicated for another to understand. As everyone knew, the owner of the notebook was extremely smart, meaning they also knew that his notes were the place he put everything his mind produced, so that he could look back later. Of course, it would make sense to him, but not anybody else. Elle eventually skipped over everything else until she reached something important-- Five words, and the only note with punctuation.
