The Awkward Couples

Chapter 6

Harry's POV:

The next morning I woke up super early. The sky was still darkish and the time was 5:30 a.m. I got up to shower and grabbed some clothes.

In the shower I thought about Danielle. She was so beautiful and I felt like I already liked her. I ran some shampoo through my wet curls before stepping out of the shower. It was only 6 o clock now. I decided to give Danielle a text to see if she was awake.

Hey beautiful you awake? -Harry x.

I know I was being a little to forward by calling her beautiful but I was only telling the truth. After about 2 minutes I got a text.

You're so sweet! yes I am awake and so is Kyra and Mairead so you want to take a trip to the cafe? -Danielle xo.

Sure thing I will pick you three up in 5 minutes. -Harry xx.

I grab my keys and my wallet and get in my car. It was a bit chilly so I grabbed a jacket and turned up the heat in the car. I first pulled up at Danielle's driveway. I got out of the car and knocked on her door.

"I'll be there in a minute!" I heard Danielle call through the door. I waited patiently and finally Danielle opened the door.

"Hey Harry!" Danielle cheered hugging me tightly.

"Hey you ready to go?" I asked her. She nodded and we got into the car. I rushed over to the car door and opened the passenger side for her. She gave me a smile and mumbled a 'thanks.' As we sat in the car we talked about anything. She was so easy to talk to and it felt like we have known each other since forever. After about 5 minutes we pulled up into Kyra's driveway. I honk and watch her walk out the door. She opens the door in the back and hops in.

"Hey Harry! Hey Danielle!" She said to us.

"Hey." Danielle and I mumbled to her.

"Who else is going?" Kyra asked.

"Uh Mairead." Danielle told her. She smiled in return and we drove in silence to Mairead's house. I didn't even have to honk before Mairead came running out of the house.

"Hey everyone!" Mairead yelled. She gave Kyra, Danielle, and I a hug before sitting down in her seat.

"So there is a bunch of girls and then you?" She says pointing at me giggling.

"Unfortunately. Well you girls will tell me all your crushes." I say giving them a wink. After about 10 minutes we reach the cafe. Danielle walks in first in a rush to get some hot chocolate. I laugh at her child-like behavior and walk in last.

"Melissa?" Kyra says to a girl sitting at one of the tables.

"Oh hey Kyra." She says eyeing all of us and checking me out before winking at me.

"What are you doing here?" Kyra asks.

"I live here." She says glaring at Kyra.

"Since when?" Kyra asks. Suddenly Melissa pulls on her glasses and stares at us.

"Sydney!?" We all gasp.

"I came here for my revenge." Melissa/Sydney states.

*Flashback*

Melissa's POV:

My best friend Kyra and I were at my boyfriend Josh's house for a huge party. We were already on our 10th glass until I lost her and Josh. I stumbled my way through the crowd and tried to look for them. I heard a moan in one of the bedrooms so I decide to check it out. When I walked in I couldn't believe my eyes. KYRA AND JOSH WERE MAKING OUT!

"K k Kyra?" I studdered.

"It's not what it looks like Melissa!" She shrieked quickly pulling away.

"I can't believe you!" I cried bursting Into tears and storming out of the room. Ever since then we never talked again.

*End of Flashback*

After she finished the story everyone gasped and looked at Kyra

"Melissa it wasn't what it looked like! He forced himself on me!" Kyra stated tears pouring down her face.

"Yeah right. I will get Dillon away from you and you aren't going to stop me." Melissa spat at Kyra.

"Um I think I'm gonna go to the lou real quick." I said nervously.

Kyra's POV:

"Now since he is gone I am going to get things straight between us." Melissa said looking at all of us. "I don't even like Dillon. I just need to get him away from you." She said glaring right at me.

"No you won't!" I say trying to hold back my tears.

"And after I steal Dillon from you, I will go to my real crush. Harry." She says looking right at Danielle.

"Why are you doing this?" Danielle asks whimpering making it obvious that Danielle has a liking for Harry. She just shrugs her shoulders and continues on.

"Last thing. Harry nor Dillon will know nothing about this. Is that clear." She says staring at us.

"Yes he will and I will tell Harry right now!" Mairead says charging for the restroom. Melissa takes hold of her hair and rips her back.

"No you won't. If I found out anything you girls will be dead." Was her final sentence until Harry came out. Danielle, Mairead, and I just stand there shocked from all that's happen. Melissa gives Harry a huge smile before leaving the cafe.

"THAT B**CH!" Danielle scream whispers so Harry won't hear.

"What are we gonna do?" I ask holding back my tears.

"I don't know." Mairead says sighing.

We hear Harry clear is throat and we turn to him.

"You girls alright?" He asks us.

"JOLLY GOOD" Danielle says trying to sound convincing but failing miserably. He just shrugs it off and we order our drinks.

"I don't feel to good so I'm just gonna walk home." Danielle says.

"No let me at least drive you." Harry says pleading.

"No, the girls and you don't have to leave cause of me." Danielle says.

"You girls don't mind me driving her home and coming back?" Harry asks. We all shook our head and Danielle sighs knowing she lost this battle.

Danielle's POV:

We get in Harry's car and Harry opening my door for me like a gentlemen. After a silent ride Harry decides to speak up.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Harry asks me with worry in his normally sparkling eyes.

"Just don't feel well that is all." I say feeling guilty lying to him. He just gives me a look of sympathy and focuses his eyes back on the road.

"Can I ask you something?" He turns his head towards me.

"Sure what is it?" I ask.

"Well I really really like you and I was just wondering if you would like to go out on a date sometime?" He asks biting his lips. I smile bright and reply.

"I would love to!" I say excitedly. We reach my driveway and I walk out of the car. Harry comes out to and gives me a huge hug. Afterwards he gave me a little peck and I blush and feel butterfly's in my stomach. Something about him gives me chills in my spine. I look at the clock and it is 7:30 and almost time for school.

"I will see you later since I don't think I can go to school." I say to him. He gives me one last kiss before he leaves and I go inside.

What do I do?
