Tim sat quietly, coloring, waiting for Brian to come home. He was promised that the two of them would make cookies together. He was coloring a small picture of a dinosaur. He wore his red sweater along with a pair of sweats that were a bit too big on him.

Tim wasn't sure of this at first. Age regression seemed so out of left field for him. He only started because his therapist recommend it. It was a rough start where Tim was having trouble getting into the mindset or calming down enough to let himself be so vulnerable.

One of these times he was having trouble he built up the courage to ask his best friend at the time, Brian, if they'd be able to help him. Eventually attached few 'sessions' Brian officially became Tim's Caregiver after he felt he could trust them enough. Brian definitely loved helping the other with this.

Tim looked up hearing tires on gravel. He got up and went to the window pushing his hair out of his face. He bounced on his feet gently, watching Brian get out of his truck with a plastic bag. Tim went to the door and unlocked it. He peaked out when Brian got closer.

Brian smiled seeing the other look out at them. "Hey Pup, did you miss me?" They patted Tim's shoulder gently when they got up to the door. Tim nodded holding onto the other's arm tightly. "Were you waiting for me?" He walked inside slowly and closed the door

Tim nodded fidgeting with Brian's sleeve. He let go of them and looked up a little. "We cook?" He signed slowly so Brian would understand him. "Please?" He asked bouncing on his feet again.

Brian paused to understand Tim "Oh- Of course sweetheart, that's actually what I was out getting." They spoke softly as they held Tim's hand, leading him into the kitchen. "I got box cake mix. We can make cake cookies." They smiled brightly, the small gap in their two front teeth showing. Tim tilted his head and tried to look inside the bag. Brian shook their head and held the bag high over their own head.

"No no, Puppy. Not yet. Once we set everything up you can look, okay bub?" They ruffled Tim's hair gently. They laughed quietly seeing the other huff with a small pouty face. Tim nodded anyway.

"Can you get me a few bowls? I'll heat everything up." They set the bag on the counter and began to preheat the oven. Tim nodded and went over to the cabinet grabbing two big mixing bowls. He set them on the counter as he stared at the bag again. He patted the counter with his hands gently looking back at Brian

"Good boy." Brian smiled softly and walked to the fridge getting milk and eggs. "Okay Puppy, close your eyes for papa." They grabbed the bag and watched the other. Tim closed his eyes and looked down.

Brian set a box of chocolate cake mix on the counter and grabbed two small packages out of the bag. They grabbed Tim's hand gently and put the two packages in his hand. "Open your eyes, these are for you." They smiled softly watching the other open his eyes.

Tim looked at the packages and tilted his head. He sat down for a second and started to open them. The plastic was giving him trouble but he ended up getting both open. His eyes lit up as he looked in the first one. He pulled out a small necklace with a rubber piece at the end. It was a chew necklace. He waited to put it on. Be went to the next pack and pulled out a sippie cup with space decals on it. "Thank you!" Tim signed excitedly. He rocked back and forth gently. He slowly stood up and hugged Brian tightly.

"Okay Pup, let's get this started. Can you give me the cake mix?"  They tilted there head at the other with a smile as they put all the liquid ingredients in one bowl not mixing them. Tim smiled and nodded grabbing the box and opening it. He tore the bag open making sure he didn't spill any. He handed it to Brian then glanced at the 'wet' bowl.

"Can I?" Tim signed walking up to it then looking up at the other.

"Go ahead, Honey." They poured the powder into a separate bowl with flower and butter.

Tim held the bowl tight to his chest as he started mixing the wet ingredients together. He was gentle with it but he was getting the job done. Brian looked over seeing how far the other was but Tim turned his back hiding the bowl as he continued to mix.

"Come on Puppy, you can't mix it too much." No response. "Tim. Please sweetheart."  They tapped the other on the shoulder and turned him to face them gently. Tim handed the bowl to Brian with a quiet huff.
"Come on don't give me that." They chuckled softly pouring the mixed dry ingredients into the bowl. "I'll start it then you can finish Hun."

It took Brian maybe two minutes to get everything mostly Incorporated before they handed it back to Tim. He smiled and began mixing again. Brian grabbed the two things they got the other and headed to the sink.

"Just keep stirring Pup. I'm gonna clean these for you." They let the water run, watching Tim occasionally.  After a few minutes of washing and watching Tim get tired of the stirring, they dried off Tim's stuff and walked back over to the counter. "You did amazing." They smiled putting the chew necklace around Tim's neck and taking the bowl. "Can you hand me the baking tray?"

Tim nodded and walked over to a cupboard and reached for the sheet. He had so get on his tip toes to reach it. He huffed quietly finally bringing it over to Brian with a smile. "Thank you sweetheart." Brian set the tray down and oiled it down. They started filling up the space watching Tim, who was chewing on the necklace he was given. "Alright pup, can you put this in the oven for me? Be careful not to burn yourself."

Tim nodded again and grabbed the tray. He slowly walked it over to the oven and opened it. He slid the tray in and stepped back dramatically then closed the oven. This got a quiet chuckle out of Brian. Tim smiled softly and walked back over to them hugging their arm. "About... Half an hour and we can have some cookies, pup." They had a timer set.

Tim bounced excitedly, pressing his forehead against the others arm. "Want some milk while we wait?" Brian asked grabbing Tim's sippy cup. They held his hand pouring the milk into the cup. "Here baby.." They smiled handing it to Tim.

"Tv?" Tim signed before grabbing the cup with a smile.
Brian nodded walking out of the kitchen with Tim still on their arm. "Did you draw me anything while I was out?" Tim perked up a bit then let go of Brian running to get his notebook. "I guess that's a yes." They smiled and chuckled softly.

Tim held his notebook out for the other to see. It was a colorful raptor drawing. He seemed proud of himself. Brian smiled looking at it "Awe... That's so good, Puppy!" They held the side of the book so they could see it better. "Can I hang it up?" They looked up a little at the other.

"Please?" Tim smiled grabbing the notebook and carefully tearing out the picture and handed it to Brian. They took it and put it up on the fridge. When they came back they ruffled Tim's hair.

"Alright let's watch some TV, Pup."
