Senku enjoyed doing experiments with Fumiko not realizing that he spends less time with y/n.

y/n did not mind because she has her best friend Yuzuriha.

Days passed and y/n noticed something strange happening to her, she texted Yuzuriha.

"Hey Yuzuriha I have something to tell you."

Yuzuriha
"Hi y/n! what is it?"

Y/N
"My heart hurts these past few days and I have trouble breathing, can you come with me to the hospital to have a check up?"

Yuzuriha
"Sure! but you should also tell Senku about your condition."

y/n did not know how to respond to her friends message because she didn't want to worry Senku.

-the next day-

y/n and Yuzuriha was waiting for the results of her check up.

"Ms. l/n you have Arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia, it is a rare type of cardiomyopathy. It occurs if the muscle tissue in the right ventricle dies and is replaced with scar tissue. This disrupts the heart's electrical signals and causes arrhythmias. This interrupts normal electrical signals in the heart and may cause irregular and potentially life-threatening heart rhythms. The heart also becomes weaker over time leading to heart failure." the doctor said.

y/n was speechless after hearing the doctors words.

"Don't worry l/n-san just drink the medicine I gave you and you'll be fine, don't stress yourself and get lots of rest."

y/n just do what the doctor said hoping she could be better, she told yuzuriha not to tell senku about her condition, she also kept distance between senku for she did not want him to worry about her.
