School had ended for the summer and it had been two weeks before Lilly lifted the paper to read what it said.
12A Whiteroad Avenue
She decided since there was nothing else to do that day she would try find where that was.
She got into her old, rusty car that barely worked and drove around for an hour before she finally found the right road.
She pulled up to a huge mansion, got out of the car and walked up the large set of stairs to the huge, double doors and knocked. A minute later a man in a very expensive suit came to the door and said "Ah yes, Lilly. He has been waiting."
He stood back from the door and Lilly stepped into the house. The floor was so polished she could see her reflection in it.
She looked up and saw Thomas coming down the set of stairs to greet her, he was followed by another man. She had seen him before but couldn't quite remember where from.
"WELCOME TO OUR HOME" beamed the man who was following Thomas. "I AM THOMAS' FATHER, I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO HEAR MORE ABOUT YOU. THOMAS HAS ALREADY TOLD ME QUITE A BIT, YOU SEE."
Lilly was stunned by the very sophisticated looking  man who had just spoken to her in his grand, overpowering voice. But, the part that kept playing in re-peat in her head was that Thomas had already told his father about her. Thomas barely even knew her, why was she so special to this apparently extremely rich 17 year old?
