Enemy to Lover

(It's currently 11:45am)

We all followed the waiter to the table and sat down. We all sat down. Nat, Rebecca and Maya sat on one said while Hunter, Max and I sat on the other. The waiter gave us all menu's.

W- ok I will be back in 20 minutes to get your orders

C- ok thank you

Hunter holds my hand and kisses the back of it.

N- oh my god is there anytime where you guys aren't being a couple?

H- 1 we're not a couple and 2 no

N- are you sure?

Max- yes

I moved closer to Max and whispered in her ear.

C- are you ok?

Max- no

C- what's wrong?

Max- it's hard to see you and Hunter being all lovey dovey when I like you

C- Max I s-

Max- just don't. Enjoy being with Hunter. I know you have no interest in me so don't bother

Max walked away and got to the bathroom.

H- is she ok?

C- no

H- what's wrong?

C- us

H- wha-

C- I'll be back

*HUNTER'S POV*

I saw Max run away.

H- is she ok?

C- no

H- what's wrong?

C- us

H- wha-

C- I'll be back

Us? US?! Does she not wanna be with me? Does she not love me? Has she been lying to me this whole time? Am I the reason Max is upset at Chloe? Chloe ran after Max into the bathroom. I stayed quiet in my feelings for 5 minutes until Nat spoke to me.

N- is everything ok?

H- no

M- what's wrong?

H- Max is mad at Chloe

N- so, why are you sad?

H- she said the problem was us

M- oh

N- Hunter that's not what she meant

H- so then what does she mean Nat? She obviously doesn't love me as much as she says she does

M- you don't know that

H- so then why did she say that the problem was us?

N- I- I don't know. Maybe you need to talk to her when she gets back

H- I have to talk to her now

I stood up and got ready to leave but someone was blocking from getting to Chloe. It was.....

*CHLOE'S POV*

After leaving Hunter I got to the bathroom and found the stall where Max was hiding. I opened it and saw her sitting on the floor crying.

Max- leave me alone Chloe

C- I'm not leaving. What's wrong?

Max gets up and stands right in front of my face. 

Max- they problem is that I love you and you can't see that

C- I'm sorry Max

Max- no I'm sorry that I fell in love with my best friend who doesn't even notice me

C- Max I-

Max- just leave me alone, ok? I want to be alone. If you wanna date Hunter then go ahead, don't worry about me

C- I'm sorry

Max- ok

I left Max. I felt really bad but I knew when she gets mad or sad I had to leave her alone with her feelings. I got back to the table but I didn't sit down. I heard them talking about me.

H- Max is mad at Chloe

N- so, why are you sad?

H- she said the problem was us

M- oh

N- Hunter that's not what she meant

M- you don't know that

H- so then why did she say that the problem was us?

N- I- I don't know. Maybe you need to talk to her when she gets back

H- I have to talk to her now

Hunter got up and saw me. He looked at me in shock and sadness. He pulled me closer to his body by my waist, he put his hands on my cheeks and Hunter.......
