So for today, we're going to talk about reading and writing in Korean since you already learn the Hangeul. First, try to spell your name. My name is Sandra. So it's spelled as:

산드라

"산" is read as "san" because when you combine ㅅ(s), ㅏ(a), ㄴ(n), it is read as "san". "드" is read as "deu" because ㄷ(d) and ㅡ(eu). "라" is pronunced as "ra" because ㄹ(r) and ㅏ(a). So if we put them together, it's pronounced as "sandeura" 

Another example, let's go with  dong hae. 

(Note: the "ㅇ" is used as a silent consonant and sometimes used as "ng")
