Trapped in the Woods (MH:VS 2)

I had woken up and looked around. When I looked to my right, I saw Tim crying.. I got out of my sleeping bag and crawled over to him “Hey.. Tim. Is… Is everything okay? What’s wrong?” I asked him as I put my hand on his shoulder. “I want to go home, Vi… I’m worried that we may not survive..” Tim responded quietly. “Listen, I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, with me around, Reece’s team members won’t be able to stand a chance..” I said as Tim sat up. He hugged me tightly and I hugged him back. I looked around and noticed that Alex wasn’t at camp.. “Where’s Alex?” I asked “He said he was going to hunt in the forest.. It’s strange he hasn’t come back yet..” Said Jay

 I felt a chill go down my spine when he said that.. I started feeling worried then.. My watch buzzed. A notification! Alex had sent an SOS signal to me. I got up, grabbed my weapons and headed to Alex’s location. As soon as I got to him, I saw Alex dangling by his foot on a tree. One of Reece’s team members had a blade against Alex’s neck. I aimed one of my arrows at the one with the blade and shot them. Then I shot the other. I made a pile of leaves underneath Alex and climbed the tree. I untied him and he fell into the leaves. He was okay. No wounds or injuries.

I jumped off the branch and landed perfectly next to him. He just smiled at me and said “Um.. thanks for saving me..” “Hey, No problem!” I responded. We walked back to camp and once we arrived, Alex pointed out that I was bleeding on my right arm. “Oh sweet son of a….” I said as I looked at my arm. Alex stopped me before I finished. “I wouldn’t say that if I were you, kid..” 

Tim grabbed one of the bags and pulled out a roll of bandages. He grabbed my arm and wrapped the bandage around my arm. “There.. And since she can self-heal quickly, she should be better soon.” Tim said as he finished wrapping the bandage. Tim pat me on the head and I smiled sweetly. 

“Uh.. Guys!!!” Jay yelled. ‘Huh?!” I looked over and saw 3 of Reece’s team members. “Oh Hell no….” I said. I aimed one of my arrows and shot one of the members. Alex shot the other two but before he could shoot the last one, the last member shot Jay in the side. “JAY NO!!!” Me and Alex screamed. We ran over to him. Alex held Jay as I used one of my healing spells. Tim handed me the bandages and I patched up Jay’s wound. As I was putting the bandages around his waist I said, “You are not dying tonight, Jay.. Not on my watch..” Jay smiled and said “heh.. Thanks Vi.. we’re so lucky to have you with us..” I slightly smiled.
