Soft humming and soothing guitar strums. A young lady with long reddish brown, sitting beside a hospital bed glanced out the window watching the birds fly freely into the sky.
"-nmm"
The young red head boy that rested on the bed twitched his face.
"Riku?"
The girl stopped strumming and focused her gaze back at the red head who has just woken up.
"...Hana-nee...?"
Riku slowly opens his eyes and looks over to 'Hana-nee'.
"...Tenn-nii... where's Tenn-nii..." Riku glanced around the room looking desperately for his twin brother.
"Calm down Riku," Hanako replied without giving him an answer. "I'm going to get a doctor to check up on you now, okay? I'll be back in a sec."
As she was above to stand up, she felt a tug on her sleeve.
"Hana-nee..." Riku pulled her sleeves and looked down at his lap, "Don't leave me..."
Hanako sigh and looked at Riku's eyes while patting his head.
"You'll be fine, I'll be quick, I promise." She holds out her pinkie finger to Riku's face, and he joins his pinkie finger with her's.
A few minutes had pass since she went outside. Hanako, along with a doctor, walked into Riku's room and started examining him.
"Riku, you mustn't push yourself too hard. I seemed like you triggered an attack while you were outside with your brother. Please be careful as it is winter. The air density is different to what your body is used to. You'll be fine for now, but we'll have you stay at the hospital for another day or two to make sure that you're completely fine to be discharged." The doctor explained to Riku and Hanako.
After the examination is completely finished, the doctor left to give Riku space and time to rest.
"Ne, Hana-nee... Where's Tenn-nii... mama and papa?"
"Trouble came up at work right after you collapsed. Aunty and uncle had business at the next city over and took Tenn with them. They'd be back in two or three days. They didn't want to trouble me, by asking me to take care of him as well as you. I told them that I'll be fine as I don't have any assignments coming up and I love playing with you guys." Hanako hangs her head down disappointed in herself, not being able to help out her aunty and uncle when they are so busy.
Out of the corner of her eyes, she sees Riku with tears almost falling out.
"E-ee?! Riku?! What's wrong?"
"Tenn-nii's... not here..."
"Ah! Do you want to call him? I'll ask if they're free right now. Well, if Tenn's that is," Hanako asked as she pulled out her phone from her handbag. Riku's face immediately brightens up and gave Hanako his famous puppy eyes.
"Hello? What wrong, Hanako? If Riku fine?"
The worried voice of the twin's parents could be heard from the phone.
"Ah, it's nothing urgent. Riku's awake now and he miss Tenn. Is he free to talk right now?"
"Of course, hold on. Let me pass the phone to Tenn."
Rustling sound on the other side and soon, a young voice spoke up.
"Hello?"
Riku's eyes immediately sparkled at the sound of his dear brother.
