Lee Jieun pov :
As soon as I opened my eyes and got my conscious back , I could only see cages and cages around me and me myself awoke on one of this cage
Not a cell , but an actual cage like a cage for grown up birds , Its bars had characteristic dome shaped at the top and criss-crossed at sides but one thing I notice was different from my cage and others ... Every other cage in this wide room like a soccer field was in silver while I was the only one placed in Gold .. It was a dim cellar but I could clearly see the difference and different girls in their own respective cages .. Some were sleeping while others were unconscious or subconscious .probably cholofromed just like me .
While I was trailing my eyes around , I saw a blonde girl just beside my cage .. She was also aware like me so I took the initiative to talk but unlike me who looks curious .. She was somewhere scared and terrified
"Hey ! Do you know where we are ? " I said and that's when I got her attention.. she was already crying and her eyes were also puffy
"In a holding bay " she said between her sniff
"And why are we here ? Do you have any idea " I need to think a escape out of here
"For the auction " The girl said as stating a matter -of-fact.
Jieun , you are really cruel to interrogate a crying person
"Oh - I am Jieun " I said introducing myself to her
"Rosè"
"We are both flowers" I said trying to find a common ground for us .. atleast it's better to talk then to sniff and cry
She smiled sadly "We've been plucked " She understood my joke and reached for humour in this darkest period
"Hopefully we don't wilt " I also smiled sadly .. "Who would buy us ?" .. I won't lie but I was afraid of the answer that she will give
But I am the girl with very high level of curiosity
As soon my question escaped, she stared at me strangely, her pupil extent and she came a little closer and there I find another difference between other girls and me
They were all tied with a silver like chain in their neck which only allowed certain movement to them and which more or less seemed like a dog collar while , I was free from any of those things
