I speedwalk through the hallways, on my way to the interrogation room. The air is filled with chatters about captive criminal in this very building. This is no ordinary murderer being talked about. After all, he's been named the modern day Jack the Ripper for a reason, unmask him and you get Harry Styles. You hear that name in a conversation and no one bats an eye. You hear Modern Day Jack the Ripper  and everyone's interest is peaked

That's another thing scary about  anonymous criminals. They could be hiding in plain sight and no one would ever know. Even the simplest of names can belong to vicious people. You could have held eye contact with a criminal, you wouldn't have known, or bumped into one accidently or stood behind one in a grocery line perhaps. You could have maybe exchanged smiles with a victim and you wouldn't have known it's only days before they're killed. You could've possibly even held a conversation with a criminal or victim, not knowing their fate or past.

This scares me more than anything. To know you would have or could have an encounter with a murderer, robber or rapist. Completely unbeknowst to you. The world is a dangerous place filled with some of the most vile creatures who happen to be of the same species as us, unfortunately.

Well, encountering criminals is a part of my job and i've had my fair share of experience with them to know they come in all forms. Some are actually really coward people who did the crime on impulse, they happen to usually be first time criminals. While there are some sick and twisted ones who believe there is not a thing wrong with what they do and they are the worst.

Although I hate such people, I believe everyone has a story. Not that, that justifies their actions or make it undone or okay, but there's always a reason behind these actions which seem most logical to the offender, causing them to do the crimes in the first place. It is definitely an exhausting job to talk to criminals and try to get them to confess and it can be frustrating but I enjoy it nonetheless.

"Are you ready to talk to your criminal Officer Evans?" I hear Officer Russel ask me right outside the interrogation room.

"I'm not sure you can ever be ready to have a chit chat with serial killers but i guess you gotta do your job" I say making him chuckle dryly and pat my shoulders before walking away.

I walk in the eerily quiet interrogation room, my eyes landing on the infamous murderer sitting just a few feet away from me. His hands and legs are chained to the metal table, his fists clenched as is his jaw, his head hung low with his eyes trained on me through his hair falling over them.

So this is Harry Styles.
