Chapter 22 - The Key

Wang Yibo enjoyed the simple yet memorable celebration of his birthday with his close friends. Zhanyi is happily playing with his classmates too.

Xiao Zhan is a bit nervous but he can see from Wang Yibo's eyes that he likes his present. While everyone is busy and enjoying the party, Xiao Zhan got the time to talk to Wang Yibo.

“Zhan-ge, thank you.”

“Did you like my present?”

“The best present ever..but you don't need to spend this much. I bet the rent here is expensive.”

“Wang Yibo..what are you talking about? What rent?”

“This castle on the hilltop...I appreciate it.”

Xiao Zhan's brows furrowed and suddenly recall the day when he picked Wang Yibo and Zhanyi.

“Look Dada, I want to go there!”

“Baby, that is not an amusement park. that is a house owned by someone and designed as a castle and I heard that it will be open for the public for a special occasion.”

Xiao Zhan interferes with their conversation and asks.

“Son, do you want to live there?”

“Yes, I want to become a little prince...”

“Hahaha..yeah, when we get home let's play sand castle and you are the little prince...okay..”

Xiao Zhan chuckles and pinches Wang Yibo's cheeks.

“What's gotten in your head? This is Zhanyi's Paradise. Didn't you hear when you arrived?”

“Huh?” Wang Yibo pouts and still thinking if that happens earlier. Wang Yibo is still in doubt thinking about it.

Xiao Zhan gave him a peck on his forehead and look around. Without warning, he ravished Wang Yibo's lips.

“Mmmph!” Wang Yibo's eyes widen in surprise but without hesitation, he reciprocates the kiss.

The two are smooching, cuddling when Zhanyi appeared without any hint.

“What you two are you doing?” Zhanyi asked and get in between the two trying to separate them.

Xiao Zhan looks at his son with a serious face.

“Son, Dada's lips are so dry. I am just making them wet.” Xiao Zhan picks up his son and pitches his cheek.

“Daddy and Dada are kissing, always kissing..”

“Dada misses Daddy so much...”

“Zhan-ge...” Wang Yibo elbow Xiao Zhan secretly from embarrassment.

“Well, why you are here suddenly?” Xiao Zhan plays his son while Wang Yibo is trying to tickle him.

Zhanyi pick something from his pocket and showed it to them.

“How to open this Daddy, you know Dada wanted to open this but we don't know how.”

“Huh? Why? Hahaha...There's nothing on it.” Xiao Zhan laughs as he guesses Wang Yibo thought it is a puzzle.

“W-What?” Wang Yibo pouts from embarrassment.

“Kidding! It's a magic trick thing, you know..”

“You!”

“Here...hold our son..I'll show you..” Xiao Zhan said and starts to walk back to the hall. Wang Yibo and Zhanyi followed and sit.

The emcee starts to announce something and the guest who was dancing get back to their seats.

“Everyone, Mr. Xiao has a simple presentation to show and he called, Magic Xiao haha..”
