" Dylan time to go to the dentist" Mom says in a sing song voice knowing how much I hate the dentist. With my dark hair and sky blue eyes with a strange purple streak in one eye I'm pretty but not "hot"
"And can you remind me why I have to go to the dentist I have really nice teeth" I say with a smile because it's true they are nice and white but mom insists on torturing me with going to the dentist even though they are all super nice and it doesn't usually hurt I just hate the feeling of someone going into my mouth with all their big razors and things!!
"Dylan you get into this car right now before we're late" Mom yelled not trying to hide the annoyance in her voice as she say's " Dylan you have got to stop being afraid of the dentist!!" "I'm not afraid, I just hate how people stick sharp things in my mouth" My mother rolls her eyes and mouths sheesh. We climb into her black Ram truck I climb into the front on the comfy leather seat and lean forward to turn on the radio while mom climbs in, the engine roars as we pull out of the driveway and onto the highway. As were rolling down highway 3A I look out the window at the small forest wondering how hard it would be to survive without the things were used to I shudder at the thought and look out the other window at my city New York, I finally get board and look at my mother and I tell her all the reasons I really don't need to go to the dentist, mom takes her eyes off the road for a second to give me an annoyed look and in that moment a deer springs from the side of the road, a big stag with large antlers look at us with warm brown eyes and only just realizes the danger its in I yell "Mom watch out!" we swerve right into the ditch! Red flashing everywhere as we suddenly stop as we go into a tree my head smacking into the windshield in my peripheral vision I see the stag bound off, I hazily think good it survived and suddenly darkness closes in and there is no more pain.
