NINA 'S POV:-
"So you're telling me that your 2 years younger than all of us?"
"Yes, I'm only 16 currently, but in college records, I'm 18" shree folder her legs in a criss-cross manner as she sat on my bed.
"But how's that possible?" I squinted my eyes and raised my right eyebrow in confusion.
"You see, my family has been in politics for a long time and they just changed my date of birth in school records, making me 2 years older than I am" she plucked her lips and moved her right shoulder a little forward, and slumped it back.
Little to know about my roomie, she's kind of funny but gets offended easily, she acts matured but isn't.
Shree looked at her watch "It's 7:40 pm now, we should head down to have dinner" she unfolded her leg and stood on her feet.
"But isn't dinner at 8:30?" I asked her as she was still looking at her watch.
Hmm I tilted my head a little to analyze her, I just met her 5hours ago and all she has done is acted strange.
"Yes, but we need to walk down 2 stairs, and mean seniors are staying among us,"
"And, how do mean seniors are related to we heading down early?"
"They occupy the whole table, they don't give us a place to sit and eat. If we don't go now, will have to stand and eat. So chop-chop" she started walking towards the door with me trailing behind her, with her holding my wrist and dragging me with her.
"Ok Shree I can walk on my own"
"Oops sorry" she let go of my hand as we started walking towards the stairs.
"doesn't the warden say anything?" I asked her as we were walking down the stairs
"No, cause she doesn't stay here, she'll visit hostel twice a day and once at night to take attendance"
"Then why don't you complain about this?"
"We need to stay here with them for 3 years, can't risk that" she shrugged her shoulder
"Hey, babe" I was been engulfed in a hug by Paige.
"Aren't you in a good mood Paige?" I asked Paige as she never does that randomly
"Yes, I have a nice Rommie" she winked at me.
"What's going on in that devil's mind of yours?" I wiggled my eyebrows
"Let's just say, you'll know it soon" Paige looks too happy for her own self
"Paige is acting weird, isn't she?" Asked Nichole as she stood beside me
"Tell me about it" I giggled with Nichole following me
"Guys, something is really wrong with Paige. She just hugged me as soon as I opened my room door" Audrey looked annoyed, let's say Paige and Audrey don't sail on the same boat.
Audrey and Paige were really good friends before meeting us, Paige was in a relationship from sixth grade with our senior Roy, who happens to be Audrey's brother and that's how Audrey and Paige became friends in sixth grade.
They were in a relationship longer than an Egyptian mummy, until one fine day of our junior year when Paige out of nowhere dumped Roy. No one knew why she broke up but because of this Roy went to Cannada and decided never to return home.
