Chapter 2

"So how's the flight so far? Better than your airline?" asked Luke. "Well it's pretty lavish and expensive and that sends Pop over the edge," Livia explained as she reapplied her lip-gloss as her father wanted her to look pReSeNtAbLe. 

"So u excited to meet the Ba-" and with that Mr. Rodrigues's phone started ringing. "Oh shoot! Pop better take this. Talk to you later Lukey. Love youuu!" "You know I hate that name liv- and she cut the call," said Luke shaking his head and laughing.

"Done with your face time already Mija? Or did you just annoy Luke so much that he cut the call?" said Mr. Rodrigues chuckling. "POP! You know he's the annoying oneeeee, and besides your phone started ringing so I had to cut the call. Here." "Thank you Mija. Also we should be landing soo-"

"Mr. and Miss Rodrigues we will be landing in a few moments. I hope you had a good and comfortable journey. Thank you for choosing Banner's Private Airline," announced the captain. "We didn't get much of a choice" mumbled Livia.

"Come one Mija. I know you don't like the idea of making allies but this is beneficial so I'm begging you to be nice." "Yes pop. But if they are assholes, don't blame me if I punch the living daylig-" "MIJA!" screamed Mr. Rodrigues. "Fine jeez I'll be nice." said Livia.  Obviously she was not going to be nice but there's no harm in saying she will, right? 

 "Also can I please get a new phone since YOU broke mine?" she begged. "Well I didn't beak it but fine whatever I'll get Walter to get a new one because you're not leaving the hotel." "NOOOOO I wanna get it pleaseeee. You promised I could explore the city AND meet Valerie," whined Livia "Mija please you know how dangerous this city is. After what happened to your mom I-" "I know pop and I promise I will be careful. Ok?" "We will see."

"We have reached our finally destination. Welcome to Singapore! I hope you enjoy your stay." Said the captain. Livia began to find her voice rather annoying as it was so cheery, but I mean do you blame her?

"Come on Mija" said Mr. Rodrigues.

As they got off the jet Livia's mouth dropped open. She had heard a lot about the beauty of the Singapore Airport but this was beyond anything she imagined. As she was looking around mesmerized she heard someone call her.

"Miss Rodrigues" said a man dressed in all black as he bowed in front of her and took her bag from her hand and hurried back to the car. Rather strange, she thought.

Now this wasn't any ordinary car it was a Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Even though he hid it well, Livia knew this would send her father over the edge as they owned a Mercedes-Maybach GLS which was a level lower.

Well it's just a car but I guess it important?????

"I expected your boss to be here," said Mr. Rodrigues to the black suit dude. "I did too Sir, but Boss had a last minute meeting to attend." "I see," said Mr. Rodrigues visibly annoyed.

As they sat in the car Livia saw the frown on her father's face and heard him constantly mumbling and grumbling. Livia did not understand why he would not just murder this family like he did to all the others. 

Wonder what's so special about this one? Are they really passing us up? What's going to happen if Pop's plan fails? Who is this boss and his family?

Wow this is gonna be one long trip.
