His Saucy Secretary

CHAPTER 1

                          AMELIA

I have lost count of how much time I've spent here waiting.The boss wants to interview his personal secretary himself. And gosh there where a lot of them all wearing this stupid professional look on their faces. I wish there was a mirror for them to see their faces right now.
   'Miss Russel,Mr Lawson will see you now. 'The prim faced brunette said.
    I looked around and well,i was the last person left. I guess that's  a good omen right? I looked at the mirror in the wall one last time and arranged my hair again.I took a deep breath and walked into the office.
     'Please have a seat Miss Russel 'the voice spoke. I walked into the office and glanced at my boss' face and......... 
   'WTF?' I exclaimed loudly. It was the guy from the elevator the one whom I have brutally insulted. Oh shit!! I am definitely not getting this job. I am officially fired even before I was hired. Cliche? RIP Amy you were a faithful Christian.
   His eyes widened when he saw before returning to a very cool demeanor. I was freaking out and this dude was just being calm.How can I be him though?  If the roles were reversed he surely will not be this cool.
  'Miss Russel I have actually gone through your file and anything I am supposed to ask you in this interview had been provided for.Judging from your CV and work experience I will like to say you are overqualified for the job of a secretary. I would really like to hire you. But if you don't mind my asking have I seen you before? ' He said with a down tone of curiosity.
   'I believe not sir'.  I said shaking like a Reed inside. Was he really going to hire me? Did he really forget the incident at the elevator? I mean why wouldn't he forget? He had much more important things to do than dwell on some random girl insult.
  'You see Miss Russel I like you but I don't think I can bring someone  who lies on her interview,lacks manner of approach and who is extremely rude into my service.Perhaps you can show yourself out.
  'Wait what? You can't just.. I mean damn!! Look Sir whatever happened at the elevator you can't judge me by it. I didn't know you were my boss and you even said I was qualified for this job right? You can't just dismiss me based on your random elevator stuff." I was desperate. God please.
  'I said you were 'over qualified'not qualified Miss Russel.And I am not judging you based on your elevator stunt. I asked you a simple question as to if we have met or not and you said no. You lied. I don't think I need a lying secretary. Now Miss Russel I am asking you kindly to leave before I call security.
  I sank to my knees.The tears were at the brink  already. I could win an Oscar just do do you know. 'Sir, all I ask is that you consider my file along with others. I know my personal issues are none if your business but I really need this job very very much. The reason I was so sassy at the elevator today was because I just finished talking to my lawyer who is working hard so that the bank do not take my house away. Forgive my lying which was done out of desperation and just consider my file.Please.' I bare faced lied.
  All these were accompanied by tears and stiffled sons. 'Alright then Miss Russel I would not judge you based on your elevator stunt. I would look into your file and if you are qualified you will get a call by this evening. Good day to you'.
  I rode up and after uttering my 'heartfelt'thanks.I walked out of his office. Gosh! I can believe this. The hot elevator guy is my boss? I mean, it's not possible. That guy should be modelling for Louis Vuitton right now not stuck up doing office work even though it makes a lot of money. Some people don't know how to use their body to make money. No pun intended. If I had those assets Gigi Hadid would have nothing on me. Why am I even thinking of my boss' body?hes not your boss yet.My inner voice whispered.
  Well I just have to wait till this evening to find out.
