Chapter 5 - Author Meeting (Edited)

Writer's P.O.V

Usagi groaned and slid out of bed with a face that obviously explained that he didn't want to wake up yet, today was a bit special. A huge meet up of all different authors from around Japan was going to happen and his co-workers had convinced him 24/7 to go. Finally he'd given up on repeating himself over and over again and gave in to the annoying people who begged him, including Misaki. The only reason Usagi didn't want to go was because he was actually scared of who was going to talk to his boyfriend. However, Misaki was up and ready to meet new people and maybe even make friends, if Usagi let him. You see, both men were extremely different, but were able to share a few interests, weaknesses and secrets that no one else knew.

After brushing his teeth, washing his face and getting dressed, Usagi trudged downstairs. Unsurprisingly, Misaki was already downstairs; clean, dressed and making breakfast for the two of them. In silence, Usagi grabbed orange juice from the fridge and took a swig from the carton, "USAGI! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!"

"Oops." he said apologetically. Misaki never liked it when Usagi drank from the bottle, he prefered for it to be poured out, that way germs aren't spread easily. Even though they'd kissed and sucked eachother off before, he still didn't like it. "I figured today we'd have something easy and quick to eat, so I'm just making us cereal this morning. We're having coco pops." Misaki chimed as Usagi just hummed.

Finally they'd both eaten their breakfast, Misaki began to get excited about the upcoming event that was about to happen soon. As he was jumping up and down with a very happy expression on his face, Usagi groaned and rolled his eyes, he clearly wasn't thrilled.

When both men had arrived at the meet-up, fans were lined up outside waiting to get in. It was almost like a huge celebrity gathering, a red carpet was leading into the tall building as guards were surrounding the red path. As soon as Usagi and Misaki stepped out of the crimson ferrari, fans screamed and cried, pointing at the famous author that practically every fujoshi loved. Clearly, Usagi wasn't that impressed by the attention he was getting and made his way inside with a clueless Misaki following him. Authors, co-workers and followers all turned to the open door as possibly the best writer appeared with an expression that clearly said he didn't want to be here, but he tried to look somewhat amused. It wasn't fair on him to be honest, Usagi just wanted to be alone with Misaki, probably doing something romantic. Takahashi hooked onto his arm, feeling his black cloak that was buttoned up at one side.

"Ahh Usami! Hello! It's nice for you to come here."

"I was forced."

"Well at least you're here."

"Mhm."

"Who's this cutie?"

"This 'cutie' is my wonderful boyfriend Misaki." Usagi said proudly with a grin.

"Oh." the annoying author answered, with a look of disgust on his face. Everyone around the two love birds were either talking, shouting, laughing or just greeting new people. So Misaki hugged Akihiko and stuffed his face into his coat. Usagi kissed the top of his head; it seemed like both of them wanted to be somewhere else. Minutes later, Mr Akihiko was called over to a seat and table with a long white cloth along it and a black marker - time for a signing!

Slowly, a huge sigh escaped Misaki's mouth as he sat behind his boyfriend on the floor, waiting for this whole thing to end. First he was excited, now he realised just how depressing and boring these things are. That was until someone came over. He grabbed Misaki's hand, dragged him up and began start a conversation, "Hello! I'm Isamu, what's your name?"

"Well I'm Misaki."

"Nice to meet you! Can I call you Aki?"

"Sure!"

"Great! You looked pretty lonely over here, are you bored?"

"Yeah, kinda."

"Aww, let's go get you something to eat! You must be starving."

"No no wait wai-" Misaki was interrupted by the sight of a huge chocolate fountain surrounded by delicious strawberries waiting to be eaten. Isamu had dragged him over to the huge food table, filled with all sorts of yummy treats, it made both of the men drool.

After hours of giggling, eating and talking, Misaki made his way back to the signing where Usagi was, but he wasn't there. His heart began to pound in his chest and he began to get worried, only until his boyfriend hugged him from behind and kissed his cheek. "Blagh, Usagi.. now isn't the time."

"Please."

"When we get home I promise."

"Thank you." he whispered into his ear and hugged him tighter. Misaki gave Isamu an apologetic smile and laughed. "Who's this then?" Isamu asked.

"His." Usagi responded before Misaki could even think of anything to say. It was almost as if Usagi was annoyed by the fact that his boyfriend was talking to another man, he wanted to snuggle Misaki and smother his face into his arms - just like Takahashi always did to him. "So Aki, mind giving me your number?"

"If you're asking him out on a date then you can forget it."

"Ohhh I see! You think I like him in that way," Isamu snorted, "No I'm fine thanks, I'm not into men to be honest."

"Good." Usagi said stubbornly, clearly pissed by the way Isamu was trying to joke with him, but his love for Misaki was no laughing matter. "But you may have his number." now that he'd allowed him, Misaki and Usagi were able to go home and do whatever they wanted. Usagi checked his watch, 18:00, "Could we stop for groceries?"

"I already went shopping, don't worry."

"Oh, thanks." he said and opened the car door for Misaki. Fans were still outside, so they screamed at the beautiful sight. After a while of driving, they finally arrived home and it was time for them to lay back and relax.

They were both sat on the sofa, watching the TV which was boring as always. Usagi slowly leaned over to Misaki, began to trail his hands down his underwear and whispered, "I'm going to break you"...

Nom ouo WHALE, I hope you enjoyed my edited chapter, I made it longer ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) because it was so short ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) and I didn't like it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Anyway, thanks for reading!
